ManSafe overhead systems combine Latchways' unique knowledge of fall arrest load control with innovative Constant Force technology in a solution that is flexible to use, strong, durable and easy to install. Workers attached to the ManSafe system have maximum accessibility and hands-free mobility to safely go about their duties.
ManSafe overhead systems are ideal for industrial environments and in applications such as warehouses and loading bays.
With a ManSafe overhead system the Constant Force technology is housed in an in-line energy absorber. In the event of a fall by a worker connected to the system, the Latchways Transfastener instantly locks on the cable to arrest the fall while the Constant Force energy absorber controls the load on the system.

stopfor AP with M10, M11 or M41
Function
The stopfor® A is a component in a fall arrest system. It consists of a stranded rope, the sliding rope grab with automatic locking attached to the rope and a lanyard connecting the rope grab to the harness. The stopfor® A has two tripping systems : the conventional system which operates by the swivelling of the operating lever, and the new "antipanic" system.
The stopfor® AP version has an additional locking function.
Description and Operating Principle
The stopfor® A allows the user maximum mobility while providing total safety for work on a vertical plane. In the event of a fall, two separate tripping systems engage the jaw on the rope and stop the fall smoothly. With the conventional tripping system, the operating lever is free and swivels by the action of the force applied by the user via the lanyard.
With the new "antipanic" system, if the lever is held open by the user when he falls, the roller detects the increase in speed and causes the jaw to close. The stopfor® AP has a function which locks the grab on the rope. This allows the user to create an anchor point on the rope and work held by the rope.
The stopfor® A has a hinge for inserting the rope in the device, which is held closed by a captive screw and locknut. A safety device prevents the unit from closing if the stopfor® A is installed upside down on the rope, with the directional arrow pointing downwards.
Characteristics
Double safety system for opening and closing (press on locknut and on serrated button).
Anti-panic device.
Upside down mounting prevention system.
Locking function for working held by rope.
Directional arrow.
Cannot be dismantled.

To stop a fall As Soon As Possible
The use of a mobile fall arrester is the least restricting solution among fall arrest systems : the mobile fall arrester moves with the worker without manual intervention, while not being noticed.
It can be used as part of a belay system for movement on a structure or as a back-up on the safety rope for rope access work.
The mobile fall arrester locks in case of a fall, slide or uncontrolled descent. It will work on vertical or angled ropes even if the user grabs the device during a fall.
The Petzl difference
1- An innovative solution : the locking wheel
The locking wheel rotates on the rope regardless of whether it is vertical or angled. The ASAP therefore follows the worker's movements. If the device is shock loaded (a fall) or experiences excessive speed (a slide or uncontrolled descent), the wheel locks on the rope to stop a fall.
2- Quick and easy installation
The opening catch disengages the locking wheel so the ASAP can be installed quickly and easily at any point on the rope.
Distancing the worker from the safety rope
The ASAP may be used with the included OK TRIACT carabiner by itself, or with an energy absorbing lanyard.
ASAP'SORBER lanyards absorb the energy generated from a fall and allow the worker to be farther away from the safety rope.
They are available in two lengths, for the best compromise between the distance from the rope and decreasing the length of a fall.

A life line for the frames lattice.
For the roofs whose framework is in IPN, IPE, firm angles and others metal, SOMAIN SAFETY designed a single life line: SECURIFIL® préfa.
This life line is an example representative of the potential of technical innovation of our research department.
A reliable life line installed on a particularly light structure. SECURIFIL® préfa is adaptable whatever the width or the thickness of the beams.
By its design, SECURIFIL® préfa requests the supports little. It is the only life line which, in the event of fall, transmits a vertical effort on the frame.
Sealing
Flexible joint for round tube.
It is about a sheath whose base rigidified by a metal crown marries the shape of the cover of the roof. Stuck, or screwed according to the nature of the support
