When it comes to preventing the tragic consequences of an explosion, time is the most important factor. Fike Explosion Suppression systems are designed to detect and chemically suppress an explosion in its earliest (incipient) stages. The Explosion Vent Panels which all carry EC-type certification have been designed as relief devices to rupture at predetermined pressure to allow the flames and overpressure to vent into a safe area in the case of an explosion.

The ground resistance of substations can be measured with two auxiliary electrodes which are put into the ground. To avoid influences from the mains current and its harmonics, this measurement should preferably be carried out with 128 Hz.The high output power of the CPC 100 ensures a high ratio of the signal level to the noise level. Thanks to the signal processor technology, the measuring procedure is very selective and disturbances by ground currents are reduced to a minimum.

3731 Clamp-On Ground Resistance Testers
The Clamp-on Ground Resistance Tester Model 3731 measures ground rod and small grid resistance through any season, without the use of auxiliary ground rods.

Clamp-on Ground Resistance Testers are used in multi-grounded systems without disconnecting the ground under test. The Model 3731 simply clamps around the ground conductor or rod and measures the resistance to ground. By performing measurements on intact ground systems, the user also verifies the quality of the grounding connections and bonds. Resistance and continuity of grounding loops around pads and buildings may also be measured.
The Model 3731 also provides alarm and memory functions.

Ground resistance measurement involves factors that are not encountered during ordinary resistance measurement, such as polarization of the earth, the influence of grounding current due to leak current and grounding voltage, and the influence of auxiliary grounding resistance. The 3151 is able to make more accurate measurements more safely under difficult conditions because it uses the alternating current potentiometer method to provide measurement accuracy, and because it contains features such as an auxiliary grounding resistance check feature and measurement frequency switching.

A sealing hose system was developed in cooperation with the Industrial Fire Brigade of Henkel KGaA Düsseldorf. This system enables sealing of positions which are difficult to access and which have operating pressures of up to a maximum of 10 bar (145 psi).
There are two set variations supplied: Premium Set and Base Set. Both sets are contained in a practical transport case and are easy to use.

CLOSED END HIGH PRESSURE BOOT SEAL
The new Poly II CE boot is watertight and airtight. This is the ideal boot for applications requiring vacuum testing. The boot fits any 2” pipe. Made of durable EPDM rubber, this flexible pipe-to-concrete connector meets or exceeds all ASTM 1227 and 923 requirements as well as Grease Interceptor specifications. Using this boot ensures watertight connections. This connector casts into concrete simply by using our Polylok plastic mandrel or any existing two-inch open-end boot mandrel. Complete with an external stainless steel hose clamp, when installed correctly this two-inch closed-end boot will perform up to 10 psi. The boot accepts 2” Schedule 40 or SDR 35 pipe. It can be cast into walls from 2.5” - 4” thickness.

The first self-testing obstacle warning light
The new range of TWINY obstacle warning lights is made of a master and a slave beacons. The "slave" is automatically working as soon as the "master" is down. This design is securing the obstacle beaconing, since the system will be permanently operational. The Twiny range also includes a dimmer switch which will automatically switch on and off the lights during day and night time.
Furthermore, the TWINY range has a unique and specific self testing device, working daily or on request according to customer specifications. The test procedure check the two beacons conditions. If ever one of the light test is negative, a defect contact will report the information. The testing procedure is visible from the ground (no need to reach the beacons to start or witness the test).
Three types of low intensity obstacle warning lights are available within the TWINY range: the BA10 incandescent lights, the LED BA15 lights as well as the Neon BA20 and BA30 types.

The lightning flash counter is designed to keep a record of all direct lightning strikes on the external lightning protection system (Prevectron, single rod, meshed cage). The digital display (6 digits) allows a direct and comfortable reading of the number of recorded impacts.
Lightning discharges counting and saving requires no external power supply and is not thus dependent on the life cycle of the internal battery. The internal long duration lithium battery is only required for diplaying strikes figure when the button located on the front panel is pressed.

The dramatic events of 11th September 2001 caused the Airport Security Authorities to strengthen checks on passengers and their personal effects.
Notwithstanding the extremely high discrimination capability of last-generation CEIA walk-through Metal Detectors, a certain percentage of shoes containing significant metal masses still cause alarms during transit, and so have to be examined by security staff with another inspection system – usually the X-ray scanner – to ensure that there are no meal weapons hidden in them. This obviously causes inconvenience to the passengers in transit.
In the light of this new operational scenario, CEIA has developed the SAMD Shoe Analyzer to check shoes worn by passengers without having to remove them, employing low-frequency electromagnetic fields which are non-ionizing and completely harmless.
The SAMD Shoe Analyzer is an extension of the Walk Through Metal Detector Gate, which complies with the most recent, stringent security requirements, reduces by up to 10 times or more the number of shoes that must be examined manually because of metal alarm.
