The doseBadge is the unique way to measure Occupational and Industrial noise exposure. Different to a traditional Noise Dosemeter, the doseBadge has no cables or buttons, and is controlled, via an InfraRed link, from the RC:110A Reader unit.
The doseBadge has no buttons or controls and is contained in a robust metal case which prevents damage to the unit. The doseBadge logs, measures and stores noise data throughout the measurement and this data is downloaded to the Reader unit for review and analysis.
By eliminating cable and controls from the doseBadge, the user can be sure that the person being measured cannot have tampered with the measurement and that the data is valid. The CR:110A version of the doseBadge has been designed to meet the needs of the new EU Physical Agents (Noise) Directive as well as a range of other noise measurement standards.
These new features also allow the doseBadge to be used to comply with a range of measurement guidelines and standards including ISO, OSHA & OSHA HC, US DOE, ACGIH and US ACHPPM.

Barriers to accurately assessing the noise exposure of workers are removed with the innovative Model 22 doseBadge System.
The revolutionary doseBadge is a self contained noise measurement device that has no cables, display or controls, making it an ideal solution for noise dosimetry because units cannot be tampered with during measurements.
doseBadges communicate with an infra-red Reader Unit - similar technology to a television remote control. The Reader Unit controls the doseBadge to program, calibrate, start/stop, download and store measurements.
All key parameters can be viewed on the large clear backlit screen of the Reader Unit, which also displays a time history graph of workers' daily noise exposure.
doseBadge Measurement Systems include all that is required to carry out a noise survey including: Model 22 doseBadge(s) with fixing mounts, Model 22-R Reader Unit, CHR20 Charger Unit, Power Supply, Hard Attache Carrying Case, USB Cable, Software, Calibration Certificates and Operating Manual.

The "Barriers by P.E." are Pneumatic & Fluid-dynamic Barriers designed, engineered and manufactured by P.E. and apply a simple concept: the treatment "in situ".

| Safety Locks similar to Safety Catchers and Safety Brakes are used against failure of lifting members. But in contrast to those they are not suitable to decelerate masses or to dissipate kinetic energy. On the other hand, the rod displacement to build up the holding force is very small, so that this units can be used for a approximitive positioning tasks as well. Furthermore this design principle allows compact solutions even for small rod sizes (smaller than for Safety Catchers). In the field of pneumatic clamping devices the Safety Locks are providing the absolutely highest holding forces in relation to housing dimensions. |

The pneumatic Clamping and Braking Element for piston rods RB.
The RB series is based on our proven wedge slide gear principle and is used for clamping and braking without pressure. This element was developed for deployment on round-shaft guides or piston rods with a surface hardness of min. HCR 54.
The compact design is suitable for shaft diameters of Ø10 to Ø60 and allows holding forces of up to 60,000 N at a pneumatic opening pressure of just 4 bar.
As a specific feature no reset is needed for restarting.
The RB series stands out for its short reaction times. Even in vertical deployment, short braking distance are achieved in less than 30 ms.
