The DI01-2 Diving Communications Box is designed and manufactured by Link Instruments Ltd, the unit is robustly made in a water proof Pelican carry case, the push button controls are large and easily operated even when wearing gloves.

Housed in a compact and waterproof enclosure the system is totally portable with the rechargeable batteries lasting for some 9 hours continual use (60 hrs standby) before recharging. Larger batteries with longer life may easily be added as an optional extra. The set is compatible with most types of two wire headsets. |

The very attractive telephone housing is constructed of impact-resistant and shockproof polycarbonate. Damage caused by the exposure to acids, alkalis and lubricants is minimized.
The Weatherproof Telephone has been tested and approved for use in Type 4X and IP66 applications. The keypad is sealed to keep out dust, dirt and moisture.
