Pannier introduced the bar code metal tag in the 1980s as an alternative to less durable paper and plastic labels. Metal tags withstand harsh industrial processes in the steel, aluminum, automotive, and other industries. Aluminum tags are ideal for labeling products that are stored outdoors, and our MCL1800 high temperature metal tags can endure temperatures in excess of 1,800°F.
Tags can be ordered pre-printed or blank for use with our Metal Tag Printers. Information such as text, graphics, bar codes, and 2D Data Matrix codes can be printed vertically or horizontally. Tags are supplied in coiled form, nicked and notched for easy separation.
In addition to our white and colored materials, tags can also be "design printed" with many colors and patterns for inventory tracking applications. To reduce print times, tags can also be pre-printed with your logo or other fixed information

CM-SCE markers are flat, rigid, non-adhesive labels that can be
used to identify large cables and wire bundles in environments
such as military and aerospace. Marker tags are applied to cables
or wire bundles with cable ties.

Made from durable, flame retardant, radiation crosslinked heat-shrinkable polyolefin, TMS-SCE marker sleeves can be used in a wide variety of applications.
All TMS-SCE meet the performance requirements of SAE-ASM-DTL-23053/5 class 1.TMS-SCE-2X meets all of the requirements of SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 classes 1 and 3. The marks are permanent immediately after printing and remain legible even when exposed to abrasion, aggressive cleaning solvents, and military fuels and oils. The sleeves meet the mark permanence requirements of SAEAS81531 4.6.2 and MIL-STD-202 both before and after shrinking.

RMK is a computer printable labelstock with outstanding fluid and
abrasion resistance, designed to be printed by sheet fed inkjet
printers. When heat-cured after printing its unique heat reactive
epoxy surface “locks in” the image to combine the versatility and
convenience of on-site printing with performance to meet the
toughest conditions. A high performance acrylic adhesive ensures
simple installation while maintaining excellent adhesion. A wide
range of label sizes are available, supplied in A4 sheets for feeding
through standard inkjet printers.
Typical applications are replacement of engraved metal or plastic
labels, signs, rating plate labels, and color coding.

Choosing the right facestock is crucial to the quality of your prime label. Weber offers a variety of facestocks, each with outstanding features to satisfy the requirements of many applications.
Pressure-Sensitive Papers
Paper is a versatile, economical, and easily printed facestock, good for most general applications. We offer a variety of papers, which can be die-cut into virtually any shape and are easy to apply using automatic equipment.
Pressure-Sensitive Films
Films are ideal for curved or squeezable products since they offer conformability, and they're also great for labels that require a greater degree of durability or moisture resistance. Weber films also are designed for ease of use with automatic label applicators.
Prime Label Adhesives
Pressure-sensitive adhesive works not only because of its tack, but also due to the slight absorption of the adhesive into the surface of the substrate. Certain characteristics of different substrates can prevent the absorption of adhesive, weakening the adhesion of the label.
Rubber & Acrylic Adhesives
Typically, rubber-based adhesives are less expensive, but lack cold or low temperature-resistant qualities. Acrylic adhesives have a lower degree of initial tack than rubber-based, however, after a 24-hour set period, acrylic adhesives are generally as permanent as rubber-based adhesives. Plus, acrylic adhesives can be created to resist high heat and freezing temperatures.

HeatWatch, a proprietary device, monitors product that has been exposed to extremely high temperatures above a specified level. After a minimum of 30 minutes, the device turns from pink to red to indicate unacceptable exposure.

Tempilabel and Thermax are the ideal solution to monitor and verify temperature specific operations such as climate conditions during storage and transit. They feature adhesive backing allowing them to be affixed to any surface quickly and easily. When desired temperature is reached the dot in the middle changes to black and remains that way indicating that the desired temperature has been reached. Accurate to +/- 2% of the Fahrenheit rating, Tempilabel and Thermax brands are both available in either the multiple temperature range configuration or single temperature design.
