The GOW-MAC Series 23-550 FID Hydrocarbon Analyzer uses a flame ionization detector (FID) to establish the total hydrocarbon content of grades 5 and 6 high purity gases, specialty gases, electronic gases and ambient air. The detection of trace levels of hydrocarbons in pure gases used in the semiconductor industry, air separation plants and packaged by the bottled spec gas producers are determined from the sub-ppm level to higher levels with excellent linearity. Standard and corrosive resistant analyzers are available.
The Series 23-750 FID Hydrocarbon Analyzer allows for the analysis of total hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide by a built-in methanizer. The methanizer is user selectable for quantitating methane alone or methane plus carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
GOW-MAC’s Total Hydrocarbon Analyzers offer unique features, including: triple ranges from 0.03 ppm to 19,999 ppm methane in nitrogen using hydrogen as fuel; units meet EPA certification for linearity; an electronic flame-out circuit to continuously monitor the flame (eliminating flame out sensor burnout); digital readout; and terminals for permanent recording of data. Model 4020 Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer
The Model 4020 utilizes a flame ionization detector (FID) for the continuous trace analysis of total hydrocarbons (THC) under a variety of different process conditions. The principle of operation is based on measuring the ion current generated when organic compounds are dissociated in an intense hydrogen flame.
The 4020 is ideal for monitoring hydrocarbon contamination in high purity bulk gases. When coupled with Teledyne's unique separation column, the 4020 is also diverse enough to be applied in hazardous locations for the detection of volatile hydrocarbons in cooling water for process leak detection and environmental compliance.

Each series has two models to choose from covering different ranges:
“A” covers 0-2/0-20 ppm
“B” covers 0-20/0-200 ppm
Detection is based on spectral emission of argon (helium – Series 1300) plasma. High signal gain and improved noise rejection, gives each series the guaranteed sensitivity of 10 ppb for the impurity.
Each analyzer is designed as a rugged, low cost, low maintenance, straightforward instrument to operate. There are no valves, carrier gas, or radioactive source. The analyzer is virtually maintenance-free. The Argweld Weld Purge Monitor.

The monitor can tell the operator exactly when the oxygen level is low enough to commence welding. No estimating or guesswork is involved, so no time is wasted waiting for the correct level to be reached.

The Argweld® Titanium Purge Monitor has been specifically designed for indicating oxygen levels in Argon gas for weld purging.
It is believed to be the worlds first purpose designed and built Titanium Weld Purge Monitor.
It measures and clearly indicates actual oxygen levels in parts per million (or percent) down to 10 parts per million, (0.001%), on an alpha-numeric display.
The unit is menu driven by four buttons on the front panel and has an internal alarm with high and low oxygen levels which can be set on the front panel.
A unique new low cost sensor is used which has very little maintenance requirement and tests have shown that is should have up to a five year life. An optional software package is available to allow a computer to be used to store and print results and graphs etc for quality control purposes.

AreaRAE Steel is the first ATEX certificated Wireless Monitor in Europe with up to 5 simultaneous gas sensors including Toxic Industrial Chemicals. It runs licence-free communication and RAE Systems can show over 2.500 installed base.
The AreaRAE Steel is housed in a welded stainless-steel enclosure, it is rugged, portable and weather-resistant, making it suitable for harsh environments.
