Gasmet CEMS is a fully automatic measuring system for demanding emissions monitoring applications. The FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) based measurements provide high accuracy, minimise the need for span calibrations, and most importantly allow the measurement of multiple compounds with just one analyser.
Hot extractive sampling ensures reliable results for water soluble compounds such as HF, HCl, and NH3. Gasmet CEMS require no sample gas drying, cooling, or dilution. The hot-and-wet sample gas is simply pumped to the heated and corrosion resistant sample cell after particle filtration.
The Gasmet CEM Systems are protected by extensive self-diagnostics functions. The system automatically flushes itself with zero gas on any alarm, thereby protecting the critical parts from condensation.
The Gasmet CEMS is in its natural environment in demanding waste incinerator applications (waste incinerator plants and cement kilns etc.). Other application areas where Gasmet CEMS can also reveal its full potential include the separation of organic compounds; slip ammonia control in DeNOx systems and measurement of special inorganic compounds like HCN. |

The Gasmet™ In Situ combines the benefits of in-situ – design with the advanced analysis capabilities of an FTIR spectrometer. When compared with traditional in-situ analyzers, the Gasmet™ In Situ excels both in terms of analysis performance, calibration stability and in the ease of maintenance. The Gasmet™ In Situ analyzer offers a cost-effective alternative to extractive systems in continuous emissions & process monitoring applications where multiple gas compounds need to be monitored with great accuracy.
The Gasmet™ In-Situ incorporates a Fourier Transform Infrared spectrometer, a sample cell which is directly inserted into the sample gas flow, and signal
processing electronics in a compact package. This analyzer is fully equipped for fixed installations and it offers versatility and high performance for a wide range of different applications. Gasmet In Situ can generate direct 4-20 mA outputs, or alternatively it can be connected to external PC for further data analysis and logging features.
The Gasmet In Situ analyser offers a cost-effective solution for continuous emissions monitoring & process control applications. |

Low cost controllers for installations up to 16 channels
Flexible ModBus RTU interface
4-20 mA outputs (820 only)
Auto-configuration of iTrans and AirAware monitors (810 only)
The 810/820 family of gas controllers are ideal for installations under 16 points. The 810 Controller is a digital ModBus controller that can act as both a master and slave device. It can communicate with up to 16 iTrans or AirAware units on a network. A second ModBus interface allows the 810 to be a ModBus RTU slave device on large networks. The 810 Controller has an LCD display, 16 programmable relays for turning on/off external alarms, and on-board audio and visual alarms.
The 820 Controller is 2 channel analog controller. The 820 can accept two 4-20 mA signals from any transmitter and displays the reading on the large LED display. The 820 has 4-20 mA pass-through allowing the analog signal to be passed along to other control devices. A ModBus RTU interface on the 820 Controller allows it to be placed onto larger digital networks.

The OPASTOP® GP 2001 H is particularly adapted to the following applications:
• Continuous monitoring of dust emission concentration.
• Monitoring of filtration system emissions.
• Monitoring of flue gas opacity for maximum burner combustion.
A cone of light transmitted by fibre optic cable from a light source is shone into the measuring area from the scanner head. A fibre optic receiving cable transmits the reflected light from the suspended particles to a
photosensitive cell.
Four generations of equipment with over 30 years experience in the field
have given the GP 2001 H the following advantages:
• Reflection type measuring system, in-situ, giving:
• The best available sensitivity to low dust levels.
• Rapid response time.
• A single scanner head, completely separate from the electronics panel, giving :
• Easy to fit assembly.
• No scanner alignment required.
• High tolerance to temperature and vibration.
• Large back-lit interactive LCD screen, showing clear instructions
making it easy to understanding and use.
• Modulated light source eliminating parasitic light reflection.
• Modular design, enables easy maintenance and parts replacement.
• Automatic scale switch-over from low to high dust content enables a permanent reading of the measured value.
• Scanner head fits in place of all the preceding generations of OPASTOP® can replace all versions of GP 1000 H / GP 2000 H OPASTOP® scanner heads without modification. |

Atmospheric aerosol plays an important role in atmospheric processes There are various sources of atmospheric aerosols including combustion of fossil fuels, biomass burning or mineral dust from desert region. The degree of contribution to the above mentioned effects depends on the type of aerosols, therefore there is a strong need for instruments which can measure not only the total concentration of atmospheric aerosols, but can also classify it. Photoacoustics was always recognized as a highly promising method for qualitative analysis of aerosols, as it can measure directly the amount of light absorption by aerosols, while being largely insensitive to uncharacteristic light scattering. However photoacoustic differentiation between aerosols was strongly hindered by the fact that optical absorption spectra of aerosols are highly uncharacteristic, when measured in a narrow wavelength range. We have developed and patented a method of measuring photoacoustically the absorption spectra in a wide wavelength range, i.e. from the near-infrared to the UV. With our MuWaPas system it is possible top differentiate between aerosol types.
Besides aerosols, we also offer gas monitoring systems for ammonia, methane, ozone or BTEX monitoring.

Extractive process gas analysis is characterized by the fact that a sample is extracted from the process line and conveyed to the analyzer. Typically, the sample is extracted by a probe, then transported through a sample line and conditioned before being processed to the analyzer.
Siemens has integrated numerous extractive analytical methods in the series 6 analyzers family with a modular and consistent housing and operating concept. Each of the analyzers is thereby a class of its own:
IR-active components: ULTRAMAT 6 and ULTRAMAT 23
IR-active components and Oxygen
Oxygen: OXYMAT 6 and OXYMAT 61 and OXYMAT 64
Hydrocarbons (total content measurement): FIDAMAT 6
Hydrogen and noble gases: CALOMAT 6 and CALOMAT 62 |
