The Wireless Probe System provides an excellent means to measure Temperature, EMC or MC values at hard to get to or remote locations.
It has been used in numerous research projects to measure MC inside walls , inside lumber stacks or other materials. Also it is used to just monitor MC, EMC and/or Temperature readings in predominantly smaller Kilns.
Up to 100 remote Transmitters (T,EMC,MC) can be connected. The signals are picked up by one or several receiver(s) connected to a PC. There, all readings are being numerically or graphically displayed. MC readings are corrected for individual species.
The transmitters operating range varies from approximately 75' inside a kiln to 1000' where a straight line of sight exists. They are powered by an integrated lithium battery lasting the entire life span of the unit (appr. 10 years |

The 2665 Series high resolution digital automatic extensometer provides a solution to the need for faster and more efficient testing. All operations of the extensometer are fully automated.
The extensometer is available for axial and transverse measurement (2665-026).
Principle of Operation
The 2665 Series extensometer uses a servo-follower to measure the test specimen strain without any significant operating (drag) forces. In operation a pair of motorized arms positioned and remotely controlled, gauge length are closed on the test specimen.
The arms are fitted with sensitive strain gauges which are used to control the servo follower system.
The strain measurement transducer is a high accuracy digital scale and the moving parts of the extensometer run on low friction precision air-bearings.
The extensometer arms incorporate over-travel protection to prevent damage.
All operations of the extensometer are fully automated and can be controlled directly from software (via a GPIB interface) or via a handset. The available functions include setting of: axial gauge length, lower arm position, gripping force.
A self-test routine and service diagnostics assure minimum downtime in the event of a failure. |

The forces which arise in industrial processes such a press-fit, punching or crimping often have implications for the quality of the final connection. Such forces can also be measured indirectly in terms of the strain occurring at the surface of the machine structure. This is often simpler than taking a direct force measurement, which requires the sensor to be built into the structure.
Kistler's new Type 9234A… strain transmitter with integral amplifier is fitted to the machine very simply by means of a single M6 screw. Thanks to its high sensitivity, accurate measurements are possible even with extremely rigid machine structures.
The robust transmitter is particularly suitable for use with presses and assembly line robots.

Either in environmental related gas analysis like stack testing, continuous emission monitoring (CEM), vehicle emission testing or LEL warning indication and in process applications like combustion efficiency monitoring, boiler trim, ethylene plants or petro chemistry, sample gas needs to be extracted from the gas stream.
It is obvious, that for a reliable analysis the sample gas must be extracted free of ambient gas leaking into the system and at the same time the dew point of the sample must remain stable.
This explains why the sample gas probe is the important interface between the process and the analyser system.
Quality, reliability and low operation cost have been the main targets for the development of this programme. The results are outstanding: the modular design allows application specific combinations in a very price effective manner.
The GAS 222 series of sample probes provides "down to earth" solutions based on advanced modular designs.Depending on the application, a variaty of heated or unheated basis units can be combined with in-situ or downstream filters. The filter material can be chosen from sintered ceramic to sintered stainless steel or even pleated stainless steel. Filters with large surfaces provide long life time. For the in-situ filters a highly efficient blowback system is available at reasonable cost.
Bühler sample gas probes are the best solutions if cost effective installation and low operational cost are a concern! |
|
The gas sample probes are used for continuous extraction of gases from dust loaden, high temperature or humid processes for the gas analysis.
Unheated, heated, explosion proof and portable versions are available.
Due to its modular design the gas sample probes can be adapted to nearly all process conditions.
