A portable sulphuric acid dewpoint monitor (Lancom 200) is designed specifically for plant requiring only periodic monitoring of the sulphuric acid dewpoint temperature for professional boiler efficiency checks, corrosion protection and evaluation of the effectiveness of corrective measures such as fuel additives and changes in the combustion conditions.
A continuous sulphuric acid dewpoint monitor (Model 440) is permanently installed in order to optimize combustion conditions by maintaining the temperature of the flue gas slightly above the sulphuric acid dewpoint temperature. It can continuously monitor the changes in boiler operation and provide a direct loop input to the boiler's own combustion control system. |

Blackbodies are reference sources used for testing infrared systems. They are required in industry for calibration of pyrometers, infrared line industrial scanners or professional cameras.
In Defence, they are part of benches for characterisation of complex optronic systems. HGH offers a wide range of blackbodies to cover all Customers’ needs:

Calibration Sources or blackbodies are radiation sources with a nearly ideal emissivity in the infrared spectrum. These products generate reference temperatures for the calibration of industrial thermometers, pyrometers, imaging systems and spectometers (Temperature ranges from -40 to 3000°C).
An extensive range of blackbodies guarantee the transfer of national calibration standards according to e.g. NIST, DIN/ISO and DKD. The instruments are used across industry and research. A comprehensive range of six LANDCAL blackbody calibration sources provides high precision calibration of radiation professional thermometers within the temperature range -10 to 1600°C/15 to 2900°F, both on-site and under laboratory conditions.
The sources are divided into two main groups, classified as being either primary or reference standard. The primary and reference standard sources are further divided into Portable, Transportable or Bench mounted groups.
Primary Standard Sources
The calibration of a primary source is traceable directly to National Standards via a certified probe installed in the radiation cavity.
Reference Standard Sources
Traceability to National Standards can be achieved either by using optional certified radiation thermometers for calibration by the comparison method, or by purchasing a certified source. |

Liquid and odd/big size sensor calibration
Two models of the ATC series (ATC-140 and ATC-250) fitted with a 160 mm deep well with a diameter of 63.5 mm (2.5 in) can be used both as dry-block professional calibrators and as liquid calibration baths with a magnetic stirrer.
A liquid bath and a dry-block diameter of 63.5 mm (2.5 in), which is twice the size of any other JOFRA dry-block, are both new in the JOFRA product range. With these options it is now possible to calibrate even more industrial temperature sensors at the same time and to calibrate large as well as odd sizes and shapes of detection, which were not possible to calibrate in the existing range. The compromise compared to the existing models is longer cooling, heating and stabilization times.
ATC-140 & ATC-250 can be used without an external reference sensor, but if a STS-100 reference sensor is connected directly to a B version or the JOFRA reference industrial thermometer DTI-1000, you obtain better accuracies and thereby use the full potential of the calibrators.

The new calorimeter from DDS has a revolutionary vessel. The vessel features safety standards, data tracking requirements and reliability.
The vessel is the heart of the calorimeter and features a printed circuit board containing; a microprocessor, memory, temperature sensors suppliers and other electronics, which are built into the base of the unit.
The solid-state temperature detection are strategically placed around the outer wall of the vessel and are embedded into the aluminum ‘skin’ of the unit. The position of the sensors integrates the various temperature readings obtained from the outer surface of the stainless steel core. The way in which a sample burns causes a varying heat pattern transfer to the core.
An added benefit is that the memory of the unit is permanent, requiring no battery to retain the data.
