Now you can stop the waste and take control of your powder coating operation with Nordsons iControl integrated control system, featuring closed loop digital flow control, automatic gun triggering and reciprocator control.
Traditional open loop controls lack repeatability and don't compensate for incoming air pressure changes at the powder pump. With closed loop flow control, like iControl, changes in compressed air input are measured and converted in to digital signals, then sent to a proportional valve.
This valve then compensates for varying pressure by changing the airflow to the pump accordingly - resulting in repeatable powder output from the gun and uniform film build on the part beng sprayed.
The technology provides digital control of all application parameters and gun movers through a single, user-friendly operator interface.

Strict environmental conditions in more and more countries restrict or prohibit the use of conventional high pressure paint guns. As a result, HVLP or RP spray guns are the technology of the future. Both technologies offer significant advantages. SATA HVLP spray guns are distinguished by high transfer efficiency that save large quantities of expensive paint material. SATA RP (reduced pressure) spray guns feature optimized high pressure. Their transfer efficiency is only slightly lower than SATA HVLP spray guns and they provide an easy change from conventional high-pressure spray guns to more efficient spray guns. They conform to VOC legislation as well as convey the "high pressure feeling" to the painter.

DJ-2200 DispenseJet® Pump for Selective Flux and No-Flow Underfill
Asymtek's DispenseJet® pump is state-of-the-art, non-contact, jetting technology for precise fluxing and no-flow underfill applications.
Flux application using the DispenseJet® pump is a superior alternative to screen printing and ultrasonic spray in a wide variety of assembly operations. Jetting eliminates the overspray and material waste associated with ultrasonic and spray application methods. For no-clean fluxes, reduction in residue results in better package reliability.
No-flow underfill is another fluid that can be dispensed using the DJ-2200 jet. Asymtek recommends contacting our Applications Engineering Group before selecting a fluid appropriate for this process.

Pressure feed containers are used to allow the coating material to be prepared, thinned and conditioned, constantly agitated (if required) and then supplied in bulk to consistently maintain the correct spraying viscosity and pressure. For all tasks requiring continuous application of substantial material / paint quantities at a steady pressure, SATA paint pressure tanks are the ideal solution. Different tank sizes, ranging from 2 to 100 iters, and variable pressure adjustment allow almost unlimited possibilities. Accessories dedicated to special tasks, such as manual, pneumatic or electric agitators are available.
Both low viscosity paints and high viscosity or abrasive materials can be applied swiftly and without problems with SATA paint pressure tanks. There are no moving parts and, therefore no wear and tear. All material-conveying parts can be supplied in stainless steel to special order. Work becomes especially profitable if the pressure tank size can be adapted to the original material container; reducing cleaning to a minimum as the original material container is simply inserted into the paint pressure tank. |

The robot is built in explosion-proof execution (CENELEC ex-pi and ex-i safety regulations),
with 6 controlled axis, electrically driven.
The control unit is constituted by a Personal Computer, with Windows NT4 as operative system, to which a serial connection board RS 485 is connected. No other extra board is foreseen, with great advantage for the system simplicity.
The R2006 robot arms (VA____xHA___mm.) are made of carbon fibre alloy to reduce the inertia of the objects to be handled in the programming stage; besides the arms weight is balanced with pneumatic cylinders used to minimise the handling strain on the whole trajectory.
The robot's wrist geometry allows it to turn its wrist in all directions independently from the inclination of the arms, making it easier to program the painting of hard-to-reach surfaces.
The structure for the installation of the overturned robot is an “U” shaped tubular structure on which the robot is fixed.
Such a structure allows the use of the robot in the same conditions of a robot placed at floor, with the further advantage to let the area below the robot itself completely free for the usual maintenance operations of the spraying cabins.
