The new LR long radius machines are proof of how quickly a new finishing system can establish itself in the market. This machine type was introduced in spring of 2004, yet it has been so well accepted by our customers that the LR machine range has already grown to 5 different models of differing sizes. The LR concept offers a high degree of flexibility. Long radius machines can be used for in-line continuous processing and for batch processing. In batch processing, the machines are equipped with a pneumatic separation flap. Batch processing in LR machines allows the processing of larger parts, with a minimum of part-on-part contact. Their main application is in-line, continuous-feed operation. Continuous-feed operation allows the LR machines to be placed directly into an in-line manufacturing process without having to invest in expensive batch loading equipment. A typical application is the deburring of transmission parts. A most recent example is the finishing of camshafts. The processing objective was the removal of a light burr after machining, without changing the Rz surface readings. The automated LR system replaced a manual brush deburring.

The Brooks/MSP 2800 TurboVaporizer system delivers direct liquid-inject vacuum film coating in processes such as Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and MOCVD. Carrier gas that is heated to the vaporization temperature of the liquid quickly vaporizes the atomized liquid. This results in low temperature, gentle vaporization that produces a very pure vapor.
The system delivers these outstanding benefits:
1) Superior Coriolis-based flow measurement and control;
2) Perfectly repeatable film properties;
3) Uniform film structure throughout the deposition run;
4) More efficient precursor liquid use due to total and complete vaporization;
5) Complete absence of decomposition products ensuring particle-free films;
6) Remarkable dynamic range, handling precursor flows from a few grams per hour to several thousand grams per hour;
7) The ability of a single vaporizer to handle multiple precursors while ensuring both complete vaporization and complete mixing. |

RÖSLER-Waterjet-Machines blast with clean pure water and attain a pressure up to 60000 psi, 4.000 bar. This water is projected onto the component to be treated, via one or more nozzles fixed on a rotating nozzle holder.
The rotation of the nozzle(s) generates a milling or grinding effect on the parts. This is a "soft" method to treat parts from which tenacious, very hard coatings have to be removed.
Blasting with water has many advantages:
No peening effect > no deformations at the part
Absolutely media-free water > insignificant abrasion at the part
Environment-friendly > The process water can be re-used in the closed circuit
No abrasive deposits > no subsequent cleaning of the parts necessary
No abrasive wear
Anticorrosives may be utilised
This procedure is employed for multiple applications in many industrial sectors:
Removal of thermic coatings (e.g. plasma coatings)
Cleaning of welding lines from residual slag
Cleaning of cast parts from sand and ceramic residuals
De-lacquering of a variety of different work pieces
The nozzles are directed by industrial robots or CNC-systems. Thus, a homogeneous blasting result can be achieved.
All relevant machine parameters can be supervised, recorded and adjusted by a central computer.

It is a vertical CNC controlled 6 spindle turret type high pressure cleaning machine.
Remained burr and cutting chips can be removed from cross holes, deep tap holes at the operating pressure up to 50MPa.
Features:
- Cutting chips can be removed by maximum 50MPa high pressure water jet emitted from the nozzle positioned by CNC.
- It can deburr by attaching a drill or a brush to the six- spindle turret.
- Cleaning room, the section of machine operation and NC Controller are separated entirely, which ensures waterproofing. |

| ZincTape comprises a layer of 99,99% pure zinc 80 microns thick with 25 microns of adhesive protected by a removable siliconised paper. It is available in rolls or in shapes based on the customer's needs. A feature of the new laminated zinc tape is its electrically conductive adhesive:this is achieved by incorporating a percentage of powdered zinc into the adhesive during manufacture. Since it's very easy to apply ZincTape, our product can be used in different fields, such as automotive and railway sectors, refineries, pipelines, tanks, poles and stakes and others. |

Continuous galvanising
In this continuous galvanising process, sheet steel is coated with a thin zinc layer by drawing the steel continuously through a bath with a liquid zinc alloy. For this process specially produced zinc alloys with aluminium are generally used, called CGG zinc alloys, with the aluminium content typically varying from 0.1% to 1%. Some processes also use zinc alloys with a higher aluminium content ( such as "Galfan") or a mix of aluminium and lead.
Nyrstar produces zinc/aluminium alloys according to specifications that are developed in close consultation with our customer. These alloys are all produced from Special High Grade zinc (SHG) and are available in jumbos in the range of 1000 kg to 4000 kg and slabs of 25 kg.
The melting and casting process at Nyrstar is developed to produce homogeneous alloys that are cast in jumbos that are free from shrinkage cavities and zinc oxides. This guarantees our customer a product that is suitable for the optimal performance of the galvanising process. |
