Active welding filters provide continuous protection against UV/IR emissions, heat, sparks and projectiles. The degree of protection provided by the filter is designed to avoid blinding by the electric arc.
When an electric arc is activated, active welding filters darken automatically. When the arc is extinguished, they go back to their initial transparent state. Thus, active welding filters free up both of the welder’s hands, which saves time, helps avoid fatigue and ensures much better quality, because the arc can be positioned more accurately.

Especially designed for welders, the Optrel e1100 provides ideal protection against UV-&IR-radiations, flying particles, metal fumes and dusts emitted during welding and associated processes.
A blower powered by a rechargeable litium-ion battery draws ambient air through a fine particulate filter and ventilates the helmet with clean and refreshing air. The unit is fitted with both a visible an audible alarm which tells the operator if the filter is blocked or the battery is low. For a well adapted fit, outstanding wearing comfort, and a perfect seal, the face seal used is made from a knitted soft flame retardant material. A comfortable flameretardant waist belt threads through a leather lumbar support which fits the system to the user’s body.

CEPRO® offers a large range of welding light filtration products which all filter harmful welding light.
All CEPRO® products have been approved according to the European EN-1598 standard and are regularly retested and re-certified. Therefore customers are always assured of obtaining a safe product.
The standard establishes requirements with regard to:
Filtration of harmful ultraviolet (UV) and still visible blue light radiation.
UV stability. This feature allows an approved CEPRO® product to offer long term filtration properties.
Flame extinction; if a CEPRO® curtain catches fire, the material will extinguish automatically after the seat of the fire has been extinguished.
CEPRO® supplies transparent welding curtains in three different colours:
CEPRO® Orange-CE, CEPRO® Bronze-CE and Cepro Green-6. These colours provide excellent filters against harmful welding light and also offer protection against irritating (not harmful) welding light. A good view of the work area not only increases the safety but also eliminates feelings of isolation of the welder.
CEPRO® also supplies a Green-9 colour. Separations of this material are opaque and extremely suitable for the shielding of several separate welding work areas without causing any nuisance to other welders.

Welding protection curtains with metal hooks on a pipe or sliding hooks in a C-profile
The curtains have reinforced edges all around and strengthened eyelets spaced 21 cm apart on the top edge.
To connect the curtains there are addional fasteners located on the outer edges (left hand and right hand side) spaced approximately 40 cm.
The material is flame resistant. The curtains can be suspended with metal hooks on a pipe or with sliding hooks in a C-profile. A lateral movement of the curtain is possible for both options.
Welding curtains are available in dark green mat, light green, red and transparent. The material has a thickness of 0.4 mm.
Welding strip curtains (without picture) are available with metal hooks on a pipe or sliding hooks in a C-profile.
Welding protection strips can be supplied for a fixed welding protection strip system or a lateral sliding welding protection strip system.
Strip curtains are available in dark green mat, light green, red and transparent. The material has a thickness of 2 mm.

* The MK-250 gas cutting torch is well-balanced, simple and rugged in design, and durable. It will reduce risk of flashback. Even if flashback should occur, the tip mixing method reduces risk of damage to the unit.
* The SilverCut-250 Gas Cutting Torch is well-balanced, simple and rugged in design and durable. It will reduce risk of flashback. Even if flashback should occur, the tip mixing method reduces risk of damage to the unit.
* The design of Koike's MK-150 has been made rugges and simple. This has also resulted in a fine balance that makes it very easy to use. And in line with Koike's policy of evn greater safety, a three seat tip-mixing system has been employed. This is because the three seat tip-mixing system substancially reduces the risk of flashback occurring. and even if flashback does occur, damage to the torch is reduced to the minimum. And if you use Koike tips, you will have the benefit of an even greater safety margin, as Koike tips are now of a special design which makes it hard for any flashback to happen.
* The design of Koike's MK-300 has been made rugged and simple. This has also resulted in a fine balance that makes it very easy to use.
And in line with Koike's policy of even greater safety, a three land tip-mixing system has been employed. This is because the three land tip-mixer system substancially reduces the risk of flashback occurring. And even if flashback does occur, damage to the torch is reduced to the minimum.

Smooth wire feed is critical to many welding applications. ESAB meets the need with ready-to-weld feeder packages featuring the latest technology for easy functionality and dependable operation.
|
|
The Wire Booster assists the wire feeding between the pail pack and the wire-feeding unit of a robot welding system or a manual power source. The driving rollers of the Wire Booster are separated from the running motor through a magnetic clutch. The wire is fed by the magnetic clutch, as soon as the main drive of the robot employs force on the wire. Through this functional principle the Wire Booster does not necessarily have to be connected or synchronised with the main drive.Wire feeding problems can now be solved fast and without any unnecessary installation.
