Maximum abrasion resistance, less wear and tear
Inline hose with 5.5 times service life
Masterflex AG has developed a unique process for producing hoses which are seamlessly smooth on the inside, thus achieving hose qualities with a previously unknown smoothness. “The Master polyurethane inline hoses offer the unique combination of maximum abrasion resistance with enormous wall thicknesses, low weight and amazing bending radii”, explains Detlef Herzog, Managing Director of Masterflex AG. “And so they are a real competitor to the heavy rubber hose.”
The patented process combines the advantages of the extruded hose with the special characteristics of the materials with which the hose’s smoothness is achieved. During manufacture, the hose is furnished with different hi-tech components. In the case of conventional hoses, the construction-induced weld seam is a major weak spot because the corrosion of the material to be conveyed takes place on the edges of the seam. By cleverly combining the materials, the hose is suitable for all manner of fields of application, specially for the transport of abrasive and corrosive media. Test results have shown that under comparable conditions the inline hose will last at least 5.5 times longer than the best rubber hose tested in the company’s laboratory using the procedure according to DIN 53516.

Wrapped Charge Air Hoses
Hoses and Hose Lines for Charge Air
Charge air hoses are air conduction hoses that counterbalance the relative movements of the various units of the supercharged vehicle power unit.
Depending on the materials selected, these charge air hoses (NW 60 to 180 mm) operate mainly in commercial vehicles under temperatures of between 50°C and 260°C and a pressure of -100 kPa to 500 kPa (overpressure).
The flexibility of these hoses is determined mainly by their geometrical configuration and the optimum integration of defined folds.
For less-complicated applications, we manufacture connecting sleeves in all the most commonly used diameters.

INTRODUCTION
Corroline hose was designed and developed to provide customers with a universal chemical hose product which combined all the requirements they had requested for chemical plant applications, particularly the need for improved flexibility.
Corroline hose not only supersedes but also improves upon the wide variety of alternative Chemical Hose products currently available.
CONSTRUCTION
Corroline is built around a patented PTFE hose liner design, which is smooth bore inside but convoluted outside to generate excellent flexibility combined with 'hoop strength'.
A stainless helical wire and stainless steel wire braid reinforcement add to the kink resistance, crush resistance and the resistance of the hose to both pressure and vacuum.
This reinforced PTFE construction is therefore strong enough to withstand full vacuum and kinking without the need for either internal convolutions or the need to bond the liner to an outer cover, making it an ideal hose liner design, and a significant improvement upon standard products currently available.
The PTFE liner is then further reinforced with an outer braid, either a Stainless Steel wire braid (SS Grade) or a Polypropylene braid (PB Grade) to provide two braided hose grades.
The most popular grade (RC Grade) includes an outer cover of abrasion resistant, black antistatic EPDM rubber which is extruded on to a SS braided liner, with a super-smooth surface finish to aid external cleaning. A yellow, 'CORROLINE' stripe is printed on to the cover. Other texts and coloured stripes are also available to special order.

Chemical hoses from ContiTech cover the whole spectrum of standard hoses for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in accordance with EN 12115.
Special processes - some of them patented - provide for safe transport of various media. This includes both hoses with elastomer inner linings as well as plastic-clad ones.
New innovations include hoses with light-colored plastic lining. With their integrated conductor helix, the hoses comply with all requirements for a Ω hose as contained in EN 12115 while at the same time guaranteeing product purity.
Process-patented petrol pump hoses from ContiTech do not bleed colors and are conductive, extremely lightweight, flexible, buckle-proof and weather-resistant. They can be rolled up, have an extremely smooth, bright-colored finish and guaranteed calibratable volume increase. The compounds used allow for good resistance to swelling and diffusion. The "hose-in-hose" principle provides for automatic gas recirculation - and thus contributes actively to protecting the environment and human health.

Today the distance between cooler and point of dispense can range from 5 metres – 100 metres and sometimes even more. The role of the python is to minimise the heat gain of a beverage after it leaves the cooler up to the point of dispense. Cold rooms and coolers are all designed to take heat out of a beverage and the associated investment is relatively high. How can you ensure that this investment is not lost?

SPIRAFLEX®
Maximum heat exchange with no lime deposits
This helically corrugated pipe creates turbulence which continuously swirls and exchanges the water. Resulting from the design, the core flow has a superimposed swirling component which creates additional turbulence. This produces maximum heat exchange as well as eliminating lime deposits.
Benefits at a glance :
- surface is up to 50% larger
- heat exchange is maximized thanks to optimized wall thickness
- extremely flexible
- lime deposits are prevented by the turbulent water flow
- quality assurance with helium testing
- manufacture in "endless lengths"
- can withstand large mechanical loads
- more compact design with hot water tanks
- improved hygiene as there is no 'dead water' zone
- special items can be produced (e.g. special steel varieties, wall thicknesses, etc)
- delivery: drums, rings or registers
Areas of application
Heat/cold exchangers for hot water tanks, geothermal applications, waste water heat
