High Pressure Tubing and Nipples
IVS High Pressure Tubing is made of 316L Stainless Steel. Available in a wide variety of sizes and grades to satisfy specific application needs, and highly resistant to corrosion, IVS high pressure tubing provides good resistance to organic acids at high concentrations and moderate temperatures, to inorganic acids (e.g. phosphoric and sulphuric) at moderate concentrations and temperatures, to salt solutions (e.g. sulphates, sulphides and sulphites), and in caustic environments. 316L tubing can be used in sulphuric acid concentrations even above 90% at low temperature.

It is available in a variety of compositions, most popular of which are ASTM-A-213, Grade TD-321. (16% Cr, 8%N stabilized with titanium) and ASTM-A-213 Grade TD-347 (18% Cr, 8% Ni) stabilized with columbium. Either of these two may be used upto to 649oC. Care must be given to choice of welding rod to avoid brittleness in the welds.

SAT, an ISO 9001 certified company, produces tubing utilizing specially designed extruders and extrusion processes. Our tubing is made using only ultra-high purity (UHP) PFA and FEP raw materials. Thanks to laser technology and state-of-the-art systems, our tubing’s O.D. and I.D. are kept under constant control, as is electrostatic charge neutralization.
Tube cleanliness is ensured during and after extrusion as a result of our contamination control process. In fact, each tube unit receives a positive nitrogen surge and is then immediately capped and packaged in separate, heat-sealed, double polyethylene bags. The tube coils are then stocked in clean room.

This pile was developed based on the ductile pipe that has long been used for water pipelines, and is usually used as a bearing pile for small buildings. The strength is higher than the commonly used structural carbon steel, and the corrosion resistance is more than two times higher.
