The Exel pull-winding, co-winding and prepreg wrapping techniques enables the manufacture of high-performance composite tubes while optimizing the structure and minimizing the use of raw material. The wide range of Exel tubes from 3mm to 300mm diameter, together with suitable wall thickness, different types of reinforcement and resins allow you to have an optimized product according to your needs.
The choice of reinforcing materials is determined by the technical demands, such as weight, stiffness and strength, and its ability to insulate heat and electricity. Glass fibre is a widely used reinforcing material that gives the product the following properties: light weight, durability, stiffness and is readily pigmented. Carbon fibre enables the manufacture of even lighter and stiffer tube. It should be noted that carbon fibre conducts electricity. Although carbon fibre tubes are black, they can be coloured by introducing a glass fibre surface layer. A hybrid is a product that combines more than one material. It is thus possible to optimize lightness, stiffness, strength and costs.
Tubes usually have a non-wowen surface, and the surface resin is pigmented throughout. The pigment can be selected from numerous standard colours, for instance, according to the RAL or PANTONE colour codes. If requested, the colour can be made to the customer’s requirements. Tubes may also be given a spiral surface. The customer’s name or some other information may be printed on the tube surface.

Hiendl of round pipes are made from natural fiber strengthened composite materials of the Hiendl NFC® of material system as well as of purely synthetic thermoplastics (polypropylene, polyethylene, ABS, PVC, PP). The selection of the material is determined in each case by the characteristics, which are optimal for application. The universal products of Hiendl NFC® and of conventional plastics are manufactured for the construction industry, the interior fittings, the laboratory, charge, measurement and the furniture making. With Hiendl NFC® the fossil raw materials common with plastics are replaced to substantial portions by regenerating raw materials. This reduces the load of the atmosphere by CO2-Emissionen. In the comparison e.g. to aluminum - also this material can be replaced by Hiendl NFC® - consumption at primary energy is considerably smaller in the production and processing.

GALVA-GARD®, "The Ultimate Corrosion Fighter" is a prefabricated, preinsulated, fiberglass clad galvanized steel conduit system for low to high pressure steam, HTHW and general fluid transportation.
GALVA-GARD® the original "corrosion fighter" just got better. As always, galvanization is applied to the exterior, as well as the interior of the outer pipe providing a clean, corrosion resistant system for underground heat distribution. Now PERMA-PIPE® has added a thick cladding of fiberglass reinforced plastic on top of the galvanized system for maximum resistance to adverse corrosion and environmental conditions. There is no need for cathodic protection. The outer conduit is clad with our filament wound fiberglass cladding 100 mils thick and designed to withstand a 35,000 volt holiday test. GALVA-GARD® is a smooth wall, hot dipped galvanized, 10 gauge steel conduit. Single or multiple steel carrier pipes can be insulated with any type of pipe insulation. We recommend mineral wool that has passed a certified boiling test. Other options for this piping system include a Energy Loss Detection and Location system and electric heat tracing.

The High Capacity Rainwater System
The 115mm x 75mm Semi-elliptical gutter system, and 68mm diameter downpipe system is available in brown, white, grey and black. This system is extremely efficient, and can reduce the number of required downpipes in many installations, thus reducing costs dramatically.
Deepstyle
Deepstyle's high capacity nature provides a very efficient system for the drainage of large roof areas, whilst still providing a discrete unobtrusive rainwater system. In fact Deepstyle offers an increase of 50% in flow capacity when compared to the 112mm Roundstyle System. The high capacity nature of Deepstyle has the potential to reduce the number of downpipe and drainage runs required. This speeds installation and can reduce overall costs dramatically.

Liquid Feedthroughs:
Nor-Cal's product line of liquid and liquid nitrogen feedthroughs includes the most commonly required for general, high and ultrahigh vacuum applications. Tubing is .25 and .375 inch OD, type 304 stainless steel with CF or NW flanges. They are available without fittings or terminated with industry standard Swagelok® or Cajon® VCR tube fittings. Maximum bakeout with CF flanges is 450°C and 204°C with NWs. Vacuum ranges are 10-11 Torr and 10-8, respectively.
Watercooled liquid feedthroughs are a cost-effective and reliable way to introduce water into a vacuum system. The .035 inch single wall tube construction is designed for the transmission of water as a cooling agent.
Liquid nitrogen feedthroughs are constructed with dual and coaxial tube geometries. This thermal barrier effectively reduces condensation and ice buildup on the atmosphere side of the feedthrough around the mounting flange interface, protecting the seal's integrity. This is necessary because of the extreme thermal gradients encountered with liquid nitrogen.
Swagelok® stainless steel tube compression fittings provide a leakproof, torquefree vacuum seal by swaging the stainless steel tube to which they are mated. They require no gaskets.
Cajon® VCR stainless steel tube compression fittings properly handle rapid makeup in tube, pipe and welded vacuum systems. These zero clearance fittings make them the perfect installation solution when space is a problem. Compression of a removable copper gasket creates a vacuum seal between air and process sides.

The LFT series of feedthroughs are used for the transfer of fluids (or gases) through a Conflat flange into, or out of, a vacuum system. Typical fluids transferred include water, Freon, or liquid nitrogen.
The LFT feedthroughs comprise one or two separate stainless steel tubes, each terminating in a UHV leak tight connection on the vacuum side of the LFT. Several sizes of tube bore are offered to fulfill different requirements. All of the LFT's have been designed with a thermal break on the atmospheric side of the tube. This comes into action when using liquid nitrogen as it forms a long heat path between the tube and the mounting flange. This results in less heat being absorbed by the liquid nitrogen (reducing losses). It also results in less cooling of the mounting flange which means that less condensation forms around the conflat flange. This reduces any corrosion that may form in this area when used over a long period of time, and so reduces the chances of contamination or leakage occurring.

Nylon tubing is a popular choice for low pressure pneumatic applications because of its combination of flexibility and toughness. Nycoil uses a heat and light stabilized, very flexible high grade Nylon 12 compound that yields the finest quality tubing available. Some of the qualities of tubing extruded from the Nylon 12 raw material are good chemical resistance, low water absorption and superior dimensional stability. XTRU-THERM®, our "State of the Art" preinsulated piping system for fluids from cryogenic temperatures up to 250ºF. The extruded HDPE jacket results in a completely bonded system that moves as a single unit for maximum efficiency and service life.
XTRU-THERM® is a process driven product, developed to eliminate problems inherent in foam injected systems. The pipe is insulated using a special spray applied continuos feed insulating process which works in line with our extruded high density polyethylene plastic material. The JACKET remains flexible at low temperatures and has a higher temperature rating than PVC. The HDPE jacket has been specifically designed to bond to the insulation. Designed for both above and underground insulated pipe applications. The hardness, tensile and flexural strength, toughness, diameter and thickness of the jacket are controlled.
The foam insulation is spray-applied and rises, unrestricted, to its final thickness. The free rise allows cell structure of the foam to be uniform in all directions. Because the foam is spray-applied and not injected, XTRU-THERM® is guaranteed to be 100% void-free. The blowing agent (HCFC, a gas that expands the foam and creates cell structure) does not dissipate from the cell like other water-based agents. Therefore, the cell structure and thermal value is maintained and the foam will not shrink.

SONIC PIG LOCATOR
As is the case with the SLDS system, the signals leave from a point (in the SLDS case, the leak) and move in both directions towards the adjacent acoustic sensors.
In the case of the SPL – SONIC PIG LOCATOR – the sonic signal’s “starting point” is the PIG itself, as it moves in the pipeline. The operator can follow the PIG’S movement in the pipeline with great precision. If the PIG gets stuck in any pipeline dent, curve, valve or in any other restriction, the acoustic emitter installed in it will issue signals in a frequency warning the PIG is immobilized at that point, allowing for immediate rescue actions.

SONOPIPE 12, the non-intrusive ultrasonic pig signaler, was developed for the detection of pigs in pipelines. It controls the passage of cleaning- and testing pigs in pipes for oil, liquid gases and water.
The advantage of this easy and reliable method is the outside coupling of the sensors at the pipes, so there is no wear. Furthermore, environmental risks due to dangerous holes in pipeline walls, as in systems with mechanical pig detectors, belong to the past.
The installation as well as the set up are easy and can be carried out during line operations. The sensors are certified after ATEX.
