Safety Relief Valves
Size range : DN6 - DN20 1/4" - 3/4"
Pressure rating : Up to 44 BAR
End connections : Inlet screwed male, outlet screwed female
Configurations : Angle relief, thermal relief, in-line relief
Materials : Bronze, gunmetal, austenitic stainless steel on request
These valves are designed for the protection of static and road-going storage tanks against damaging over pressurisation.
There are three basic sizes defined by the throat diameter and these are available with a variety of inlet and outlet connections the valves are designed and factory set to lift repeatedly within +/- 2% of the set pressure, and to re-seat above 92% of set pressure. Spring pre-compression and blow-down ring settings are lead sealed after test to inhibit unauthorised tampering, as these products are a category four-safety product. During testing pre-delivery, flow rates at 10% above set pressure are measured to ensure compliance with stated flow capacities.
The valves can be supplied with appropriate positioned drain holes to help prevent freezing caused by water ingress, though ideally the piping should be arranged to prevent this. Complete vessel protection assemblies can be supplied comprising of two relief valves, divertor valve, bursting discs and interconnecting pipe-work
Each valve is individually calibrated and stamped with the date of manufacture, and has it’s own unique serial number prior to dispatch.
All materials used are selected for their suitability to function at cryogenic temperatures. All valves are degreased for oxygen duty.

Superior Turbine Tripping Reliability
The Elliott Pos-E-Stop 203 Trip Block is a technological leap forward in the control of trip valves for steam turbines, hot gas expanders and similar power applications in emergency situations such as overspeed, high vibration or process upset. The Pos-E-Stop Trip Block's flexible "two-out-of-three" logic provides a significantly higher degree of tripping reliability than single or paired solenoid designs, and its best in class response time reduces the tripping interval for enhanced safety. And, the Pos-E-Stop Trip Block has the ability to interface with the master plant control or EDS system.
Features and Benefits
- Improved trip system reliability
- Best in class response time with reduced tripping interval
- Increased availability
- On-line test capability without defeating trip protection
- On-line replacement of critical components without defeating trip protection
- Continuous on-line monitoring of solenoids and valve positions
- Elimination of isolation valves reduces risk of operator error
- Enables trip system standardization across the plant
- Easy to install; simplifies most piping layouts
- Meets hazardous area classifications
- Meets applicable CE directives

Liquids, steam and gases - SOMAS check valves are suitable for all of them. This valve is designed and made for clamping between flanges. SOMAS provide two types, with or without a spring, both made from stainless steel to meet the demands of our customers.
High capacity and short closing time are the check valves great advantages. The closing time is short due to the seat angle in the body, which makes the check valve especially well suited for liquids, steam and gases. Another advantage of the check valve is that it can easily be disassebled by the customer for cleaning or shaft replacement.

With more than 15,000 cantilever stationary syphons sold, Kadant is the preferred supplier and global leader in stationary syphon technology. Stationary syphons are preferred for medium and high speed applications because stationary syphon differential pressure requirements do not increase with speed, as is the case with nearly all rotary syphons. This gives stationary syphons a great advantage in operating efficiency.

DESCRIPTION:
Inverted bucket steam trap with all stainless steel internals. Best suited for equipment drains with medium to heavy condensate loads. Intermittent operation.
FEATURES:
The inverted bucket arrangement operates on the density difference between steam and water, giving a cyclic operation for discharge of the accumulated condensate.
High condensate handling capacities even at low pressures, permit the use of small trap sizes to suit many applications.
The valve and valve seat are hardened by a special induction hardening process to withstand continuous, prolonged operation.
Perfect shut-off, no steam loss.
|
|

DESCRIPTION:
Thermodynamic steam trap with inbuilt strainer in full stainless steel construction, best suited for header and main line drains and drip legs.
FEATURES:
Complete stainless steel construction ensures better mechanical and corrosion resistance properties. The disc and seat are hardened by a special induction
hardening process with seat harder than disc, to withstand continuous, prolonged operation. Condensate entry below the disc, concentric to the disc / seat ensures a clean and parallel lift of the disc with reference to the seat, eliminating localized wear and tear.

Thermodynamic Steam Traps
Recommended to remove condensate from general pipelines of steam distribution and tracing lines. They can also be used to remove humidity from compressed air lines.
They are manufactured with stainless steel for pressures up to 42 kgf/cm2 and chrome steel for pressures up to 62 kgf/cm2. In both cases, maximum temperature is 450oC.
They are manufactured in sizes from 3/8" to 1" with screwed connection BSP or NPT, for SW or BW welds and flanged connections #150, #300 and #600.
They can be supplied with filter and drain valve incorporated.
In case of installation under bad weather conditions, it is advisable to use an aluminum protection cover

Automatic valves for the discharge of condensate without discharging steam.
Operating Pressure Range: Vacuum - 3700 psig
Operating Temperature Range: 32 - 1022 °F
A steam trap is a kind of automatic valve that discharges condensate generated during processes and in steam transport lines, without allowing the discharge of any steam. Steam trap operation principles can be roughly divided into three categories. TLV manufactures all three of these categories.
An extensive product line-up makes it possible to select the optimal product to suit the objective or application.
Each trap offers the highest level of energy conservation in its class.
Much consideration is given to the aspect of maintenance, as evidenced by designs that include the unitization of parts, interchangeable parts, and utilization of re-useable PTFE gaskets.

Weir SPM's Full Bore Unloading Valves provide over-pressure protection for pumps operating under a variety of pressures and flow conditions. The valves are compact, simple to operate, and rely on the system's pressure to open when a preset pressure is exceeded and automatically snaps shut when the pressure drops.
Features/Benefits
The valves are externally adjustable, and unlike shear relief valves which use common nails to trigger the valve, Weir SPM's Full Bore Unloading Valve utilizes nitrogen or rig air (properly filtered) to activate opening and closing. This model is available in 3" and 4" sizes. Operating pressures range from 5,000 psi to 20,000 psi. Standard service and sour gas models are available.
Remote Relief
Utilized together, the Full Bore Unloading Valve and Remote Control Panel increase safety for operators on drilling sites. Weir SPM designed a Remote Control Panel to work in conjunction with Weir SPM's Full Bore Unloading Valve (drilling applications) and the Emergency Backpressure Relief Valve (well service applications). The Remote Control Panel's primary function is to regulate the flow of air or nitrogen to the relief valve from a designated control station, allowing the operator to change the pressure relief settings with the turn of a knob at a safe distance.
