Weir SPM's Full Bore Unloading Valves provide over-pressure protection for pumps operating under a variety of pressures and flow conditions. The valves are compact, simple to operate, and rely on the system's pressure to open when a preset pressure is exceeded and automatically snaps shut when the pressure drops.
Features/Benefits
The valves are externally adjustable, and unlike shear relief valves which use common nails to trigger the valve, Weir SPM's Full Bore Unloading Valve utilizes nitrogen or rig air (properly filtered) to activate opening and closing. This model is available in 3" and 4" sizes. Operating pressures range from 5,000 psi to 20,000 psi. Standard service and sour gas models are available.
Remote Relief
Utilized together, the Full Bore Unloading Valve and Remote Control Panel increase safety for operators on drilling sites. Weir SPM designed a Remote Control Panel to work in conjunction with Weir SPM's Full Bore Unloading Valve (drilling applications) and the Emergency Backpressure Relief Valve (well service applications). The Remote Control Panel's primary function is to regulate the flow of air or nitrogen to the relief valve from a designated control station, allowing the operator to change the pressure relief settings with the turn of a knob at a safe distance.

Kadant Johnson Vacuum Breakers provide simple, dependable way to relieve unwanted vacuum which may develop in a closed vessel or pipeline. They can be used to prevent contamination from back siphonage in fluid handling systems, and to protect equipment against collapse or implosion. They combine tight closing with instant response, provide large air venting capacity, and are designed for easy installation and long service life.

Vacuum Breaker
Used to prevent negative pressure from causing damage to equipment. They make it easier for the air to enter when pressure is negative, both in equipment and in steam lines.

008PCQT: Anti-Siphon, Spill-Resistant Vacuum Breakers
Description:
Series 008PCQT Anti-Siphon, Spill-Resistant, Vacuum Breakers prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage on indoor point-of-use applications. It consists of a bronze body construction, thermoplastic check and float assembly valve, stainless steel springs, tee handles, and a molded diaphragm separating the air inlet from the potable water supply to prevent spillage. Series 008PCQT is ideal for indoor use on machines or equipment in general plumbing applications. Maximum Working Pressure: 150psi (10.34 bar), Minimum Working Pressure: 8psi (55.2 kPa).

Protection of drinking water networks against backflow of polluted water : backflow preventers, other protection systems, pressure reducers and water meters.
Water is the most precious of our natural resources. Whatever its destination, domestic, urban, agricultural or industrial, the water we use every day is distributed through an increasingly complex network of interconnected pipelines.
The risk of pollution coming from backflow ( backsiphonage or backpressure) is even greater when the different pipelines networks are closely interconnected.
The choice of a suitable protection system must then be made in relation to the level of risks induced by the fluids being used and transported.
Danfoss Socla is today the only European manufacturer to offer such a vast range of protection devices for every level of risk. Our valves -which ensure complete safety- are presented by descending level of risk.
Danfoss Socla offers also a complete range of pressure reducing valves in order to protect the water network against the risk of overpressure.

Positive Displacement (PD) pumps should always be installed with a Relief Valve in the discharge line, to protect the pump and piping against any type of line blockage, including the inadvertent closing of an isolation valve. Liquiflo manufactures two sizes of relief valves in both 316 Stainless Steel and Alloy-C.
Ten standard Liquiflo Relief Valve models are available, based on the body material, the port size, and the pressure setting range (see chart below). Models RV1000, RV1001, RV2000 and RV2001 are factory preset to discharge at 100 PSI (7 bar) unless a different pressure setting is requested when ordering; other models are preset to the pressure setting specified when ordering.
