Navstar GPS satellites are used to generate extremely accurate output pulses and time codes, providing options for outputs including the choice of:
- 2 TTL level, independently programmable or
- 1 Amplitude Modulated IRIG-B (B12x) output or
- 1 RS232 level pulse plus serial time string output
The TekTime TTM 01 GPS Clock is factory programmed to customer specified output pulses, standardized time codes (eg IRIG-B, DCF77) and serial time strings with a configuration interface module allowing simple programming in the field

Symmetricom's model 700 Miniature Time Code Generator suits applications where compact size, light weight and ease of operation are required. Generator time is set automatically using the IRIG B synchronized generator input. Internal batteries enable the generator to output IRIG B time code even if power is interrupted for up to ten hours. The time base of this self-contained unit is maintained by a precision crystal oscillator. A small alphanumeric display provides instant visual feedback of the 700's operation. Options are available to add video time insertion, other time codes, or parallel BCD output.
Standard features include an IRIG B synchronized generator input for rapid synchronization to a master generator. This feature makes the 700 ideal for flightline or remote field applications. IRIG B serial time code (1 kHz amplitude modulated carrier) is output via an SMA connector to drive data recorders, remote displays, or other peripheral timing instrumentation.
The 700 operates on 10.5 to 32 Vdc input via a 6-pin MS connector. A locking toggle switch turns power on/off. Once power is "on," synchronization to an external IRIG B input code is automatic. A red LED lights when power is on or if the 700 system is not locked to the input code, and a green LED lights when input code synchronization is complete.

The world's water consumption rate is doubling every 20 years, outpacing by two times the rate of population growth. It is projected that by the year 2025 water demand will exceed supply by 56%, due to persistent regional droughts, shifting of the population to urban coastal cities, and water needed for industrial growth. The supply of fresh water is on the decrease. Water demand for food, industry and people is on the rise.
Lack of fresh water reduces economic development and lowers living standards. Clearly, there is a critical worldwide need to better manage this increasingly valuable resource.
Desalination systems from GE Water & Process Technologies can make abundant fresh water both from seawater and from challenging brackish sources.

The Sound Guard SST consists of 5 powder coated aluminum panels and stainless steel base and frame. The powder coated aluminum panels provide optimum corrosion resistance while reducing the weight of the generator. The frame (where attached to the base) and base are likely to be subjected to the most moisture;
therefore, are of stainless steel, a highly corrosion resistant metal. Even the rivets are of stainless steel. The top panel also covers the side panels to lessen the likelihood that moisture will enter the Sound Guard SST.

Symmetricom's ExacTime 6000 Time and Frequency Generators are full featured GPS receivers that offer three time base oscillator options and a wide range of "off-the-shelf" optional features. ExacTime fits virtually any GPS time and frequency application.
The ExacTime 6000 is a 1.75" rack mount chassis that is configured to meet or exceed the demands of many applications, including test and measurement, metrology, range instrumentation and telecommunications. The extreme flexibility of this instrument allows configurations including time codes, low phase noise frequencies, pulse rates, parallel time and many other outputs to support specific needs. The internal quartz time base oscillator can be upgraded to an oven quartz oscillator or to a rubidium oscillator. A time zone offset control is included with 1/2-hour resolution, and a daylight saving time capability can be set for ten years. These controls affect the LCD display, time code output and the time in the RS-232 outputs. The year can be preset to any value for test purposes. For situations in which it is desirable to disable the oscillator disciplining process temporarily, a "flywheel" mode is provided. While in flywheel mode, the oscillator loop is opened, and the natural purity of the oscillator is not perturbed by the disciplining function. The ExacTime 6010 is a 3.5" rack mount chassis that is available to accommodate configurations that require more option space than is available in the ExacTime 6000 1.75" chassis.

One of Allen Gears key assets is the ability to use our extensive knowledge of gear technology and application requirements to provide solutions that achieve the optimum transmission solution for the desired drivers. We achieve this through combining the transmission technologies of parallel shaft, epicyclic and bevel gearing to produce combination gearboxes that best meet the installation and operation requirements.

Trigeneration is the conversion of a fuel into three useful energy products: electricity, hot water or steam, and chilled water. A trigeneration system is a cogeneration system extended with an absorption chiller that uses some of the heat to produce chilled water for air-conditioning of buildings and building complexes.
With a Wärtsilä trigeneration power plant you will reach the same output with notably less fuel input compared to separate power and heat generation.
Wärtsilä power plants have ready-made solutions for trigeneration which can easily be adapted to different market and customer requirements and delivered within tight time schedules.
Benefits
The trigeneration system makes utilization of the engine CHP plant highly efficient throughout the annual seasons and through changes in the local climate. The plant can flexibly run at high total efficiencies, producing heat and cooling for airport terminals, office and building complexes, housing areas, etc., and can interchange smoothly between supplying heating and/or cooling. At the same time it supplies the needed electrical power.

CAMPOFRÍO ALIMENTACIÓN S.A. is a leading international company within the food sector. It produces meat products which, for the production process, requires significant amounts of heat, in the form of steam and hot water, industrial cooling and electrical energy.
In 1996, with the purpose of reducing energy costs on the production processes and equipping the company with flexible installations in order to meet both present and future energy needs in a secure and efficient manner, GUASCOR ENERGIA went into a joint venture with Campofrío in order to construct and operate a Trigeneration plant - producing heat, cold and electrical energy - .
The Trigeneration plant operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week with a total of 8,700 hours of operation annually.
The installation incorporates four turbo-charged gas engines, each one rated at 3 MW, with a total installed power of 12 MW.
To cover the cold demand on the production process, the trigeneration plant is fitted with an ammonia - water absorption machine, which runs off saturated steam obtained from the heat recovered from the engines' exhaust gases.

Char-Lynn Steering product line consists of steering control units (SCU) and steering system components such as torque generators, columns, wheels, and valves.
The Char-Lynn steering control unit (SCU) is fully fluid linked. This means there is no mechanical connection between the steering unit, the pump, and the steering cylinders. The unit consists of a manually operated directional control servo valve and feedback meter element in a single body. It is used principally for fluid linked power steering systems, but it can be used for some servo-type applications or any application where visual positioning is required.

LAG steering units are used in the hydraulic steering circuits of motor vehicles and mobile machines with high axle loads and driving speeds of up to 50 km/h (60 km/h in Germany).
Even heavy vehicles can be easily steered. The absence of a mechanical connection between the steering unit and the steering axle allows the implementation of solutions that would not be feasible with conventional steering systems.
Includes all valves that are required in the hydraulic steering circuit for the protection of the steering unit and cylinder. No need for additional piping.
If the oil supply fails, the LAG can be used to steer manually - emergency steering capability. The LAG then functions as a handpump to the steering cylinder.
