M Line motors are manufactured in different configurations in reference to cooling methods and degree of protection. As a result, a motor configuration can be defined in such a way to better meet operating and environment conditions.
Motor supplied in frame sizes IEC 280 to 450 (NEMA 4400 to 8000) are manufactured in cast iron frames.
Those motors manufactured in frame sizes IEC 500 (NEMA 8800) and larger have their frames built in welded steel plates.
Main advantages in using WEG M Line motors include:
- High efficiency
- Degree of Protection IP23 (WP-I), IP(W)24 (WP-II) or IP(W)55 / IP(W)56 / IP(W)65
- Reduced noise level
- Low and easy maintenance
- Can be built to meet API 541 standards
- Squirrel cage rotor
Slip ring (wound rotor)
- Bearings
Oil lubricated sleeve bearings
Grease or oil lubricated ball or roller bearings
- Interchangeability with existing motors.

AC induction hoist and traction motors offer higher efficiency and smaller size than DC sepex or series wound motors with the same output and thermal performance.
They are without commutator and brushes and require no maintenance. With this type of motor, acceleration and braking torque at higher speeds are not limited by the commutator, which results in shorter stopping distances without the use of a mechanical brake. They also offer longer battery life and more precise control.

CN Cage Nuts represent the traditional European metric size based products used for years in all aspects of European manufacturing. The greater variation on panel ranges has allowed these products to superceed the traditional UK sizes which were limited to only two panel ranges. They are totally interchangeable with the old standards but offer the designer greater choice of Hole Sizes and Panel thicknesses. They are particularly usefull where the advantage of floating thread forms are required to overcome out of tolerance mating parts. The fact that the nut floats in the cage offers a simple cost effective solution to this otherwise expensive problem. The cage nut can be used in blind applications; it can be fitted after painting of the panels and so offers the designer lots of advantages. Traditionally offered in Zinc and Yellow Passivate and in Stainless Steel these parts can be supplied with a combination of plated nuts with Stainless Steel cages or vice versa. Code 40111 M?? 40 defines Spring steel cage, steel zinc/yellow nut. Code 40112 M?? SS defines Stainless cage Stainless nut. Code 40113 M?? 4S defines stainless cage, steel zinc/yellow nut. HSL, in line with all other manufacturers of spring steel clips, refuses to accept liability for any premature failure of any spring steel part it supplies with an Electro-Plated Finish that has been specified by the customer, due to uncertainty regarding the incidence of, identification of, control of and removal of Hydrogen Embrittlement. Despite accurate processing controls, baking/anealing cannot be relied upon to guarantee removal of Hydrogen. We strongly recommend alternative finishes be specified.

SPRING TYPE TERMINAL BLOCK
Spring clamp terminals provide a realistic alternative to terminal blocks with screw clamp connection in many fields of application. The spring clamp is operated by using a screw driver to provide an access to wire through the opening in the spring clamp. The wire end gets clamped on to the current bar on removal of screw driver.
YBK type spring clamp terminals decrease the mounting and revision costs relative to screw type terminals.
Interlocking mechanism on the plastic housing prevents terminal blocks to be separated from each other when the cables are connected.
TYPES OF DIFFERENT SPRING TERMINAL BLOCKS AVAILABLE ARE AS BELOW:
Standard feed-through terminals
Multi-Layer Terminals
Fuse terminals
Mini terminals
Terminals for sensors
Terminals for PCB Connection
One-in-Two-out
Two-in-two-out

Z-series tension clamp terminal blocks with a cross-section between 0.13 and 35 mm2 enable optimized and application proof solutions.
Terminals with tension clamp technology, the Z sereis, are made to suit a wide range of customer applications. They are:
small structural dimensions
large marking surface
integrated test point
cross-connestion ability within the Z series and to other Weidmüller families
The terminals in the Z series have a wide clamping range and up to two cross-connection channels.
The potential can be distributed across any number of channels using the pluggable cross-connections system.

Flat Roller
The LM Roller is a compact linear guide with high load performance and a mallet type roller able to make infinite circular motions. This product is optimally applicable to machines required for high positioning accuracy, repeatability and rigidity.
|
|
Where linear locating or non-locating bearings with extremely high load carrying capacity and very smooth running are required for limited stroke lengths, flat cage guidance systems can be used. The guidance systems have extremely high rigidity, high accuracy and low friction and require significantly less space than other linear guidance systems.
Flat cage guidance systems comprise a guideway arrangement separated by flat cages containing needle rollers, cylindrical rollers or balls.
|
|
Miniature linear guidance sets
Miniature linear guidance sets with cylindrical roller flat cages are corrosion-resistant, ready-to-fit locating bearings for limited stroke lengths and are preloaded once fitted. These linear guidance systems have high load carrying capacity, high rigidity and high accuracy whilst requiring very little space. Since the distance between the guidance elements can be varied in design, the elements can be easily matched to predetermined adjacent constructions. The sets are supplied in many different lengths for specific applications.
The sets are particularly suitable for short stroke lengths, low-friction movements, oscillating movements and high loads with high rigidity.
