Motor control centers provide a convenient, centralized means of protecting and controlling all of a facility's motor loads. In many facilities today, these motor loads often are precision HVAC systems responsible for cooling sensitive electronic equipment - professional servers, professional routers, switches, pc's, etc. Any power outage or fault event could severely damage this equipment and ultimately bring all operations to a halt - resulting in huge financial losses.
Since 1940, GE Motor control centers have been designed and manufactured with demanding applications like this in mind. Built using Six Sigma quality guidelines, GE MCCs offer an enormous amount of application flexibility while adhering to the most stringent industry standards.

For certain applications of industrial safety relays the market specifies mounting bases ever more clearly. Although most of the users in question are aware of the advantages and drawbacks of a plug-in socket, the relay's suitability for a rapid exchange during service or in case of disturbances is emphasized. This is why Elesta relays GmbH has now included plug-in sockets in its range of products.
The programme of sockets consists of six versions:
- For the SGR282Z and the SIR282 there exists also a plug-in socket each for mounting on printed circuit boards and on standardized 35 mm Din rails (top-hat rails).
- One execution each is available for mounting on printed circuit boards for the SIR 4-contact and the SIR 6-contact range of relays.
- For the small SIM 4-contact relay there exists also a plug-in socket each for mounting on printed circuit boards and on standardized 35 mm DIN rails (top-hat rails).
All mounting bases feature an integrated locking device which ensures that the relays are securely held in position but that they can be easily removed from the socket also.
