Wilcoxon Research offers three options for applications in which temperatures are above the normal operating range of industrial accelerometers, greater than 250ºF (120ºC). The FireFET™ series, models 793-6 and 797-6, is designed for continuous operation up to 302ºF (150ºC). These sensors are typically used where extra temperature protection is needed, such as the dryer section of a paper machine.
If an installation is greater than 302ºF, a special type of accelerometer system is necessary. The 376/CC701HT system consists of three parts: sensing accelerometer (376), charge converter (CC701HT) and connecting cable. Using this arrangement, the temperature-sensitive amplifier (charge converter) is removed from the sensor and placed within a separate component outside the intense heat. One end of the charge converter will be connected to the sensor via the supplied cable and the other will be available to connect to analysis or acquisition equipment. As with all "charge mode" sensors, care must be taken to secure the connecting cable when taking data. Movement of this cable may induce false signals (triboloectric effect).

Wilcoxon Research manufactures a variety of triaxial sensors which consist of three sensing elements within a single housing. These transducers allow for the acquisition of multi-directional data at a single mounting location. Proponents of multi-axial sensors cite the increase speed of data collection, its inherently consistent readings and reduction in wiring for permanent installations.

The 330400 accelerometer is designed for general-purpose casing acceleration measurements and meets all requirements of API 670. The 330425 is identical except it provides a broader amplitude range (75 g peak) and a sensitivity of 25 mV/g peak. Neither transducer requires an external interface module.
The 330450 HTAS segregates the sensing element from the signal conditioning electronics, with the two permanently connected via a hard-line cable. This allows the sensing head to be mounted on surfaces with temperatures as high as +400°C ( 752°F), while the signal conditioning electronics can be installed in a cooler location.
The 200150 Accelerometer is intended for use only with a compatible Transducer Interface Module (TIM) as part of our Trendmaster® Pro quasi-continuous online condition monitoring system. The accelerometer features a frequency response suitable only for general purpose applications. When machinery with slow rotative speeds will be monitored, use the 200155 and an appropriately configured proTIM instead. For acceleration enveloping applications, use the 200157 and an appropriately configured proTIM.

The Endevco® Model 7302BM4 angular accelerometer is designed to provide accurate measurements of rotational acceleration. The sensing device consists of a temperature compensated piezoresistive accelerometer, uniquely designed to reject cross axis angular and linear accelerations. The sensor is fluid-damped to optimize frequency and phase response throughout the operating temperature range of 0°F to +250°F (-18°C to +121°C).
The 7302BM4 accelerometer has a stable frequency response from 0 to 1600 Hz and offers high angular and linear shock resistance. The accelerometer also provides a nominal sensitivity of 5.0 mV per krad/sec2 at 10 Vdc excitation voltage (nominal 250 mV full-scale output).

The D.Electron 3-axial acceleromter has been designed to be the transducer of a motion control system capable of eliminating unwanted floxures and oscillations of a machine tool.
While the standard position transducer cannot measure the real tool-tip position, it could be the nearer transducer to the tip of the tool.
Novelty of the D.Electron 3-axial accelrometer is the possibility of being connected to any motion control system (not only D.Electron Z32 CNC): its output is coded as a standard encoder output.
The accelerometer has been designed for real-time applications, with extremely fast A/D conversion and maximum output delay below 1 mcro-second.
