In response to industrial customer needs, Hutchinson Transmission has specially developed the ConveyXonic® belt for roller conveyor producers.
The ConveyXonic® is the « 4 in 1 » belt capable of transporting loads from 1 to 1 200kg (2 to 2500 lbs.) as well as replace the four systems used in the conveyor assembly (flat belt, round belt, chain and timing belt).
The belt's elastic properties allow for at least a 30% reduction in costs by using 1 motor for twenty rollers while at the same time adding the advantages of improved life span and absorption of shocks and vibrations.
With a potent torque transmission - up to 4 times greater than an O-Ring - increased package flow speed up to 4 meters per second, the ConveyXonic® belt improves efficiency while working silently, requiring little maintenance since lubrication and retensioning and are not needed, and ending corrosion concerns.
Easy to use thanks to an automatic or semi-automatic installation, our ConveyXonic® product line has already been designed for you.
It is standardized in function of the center distance, the center distance tolerance and the transported weight.
The ConveyXonic® is available worldwide, with two, three of four rib profiles (PJ2, PJ3, PJ4), through our distributors.
We would be happy to put you in contact with the distributor closest to you.

These belts are typically used in the same types of application as perforated belts. The attachments are used to engage perforated webs, lead frame, or custom part for an application. Metal belts with attachments are an ideal choice for automated assembly or inspection systems which require precision indexing relative to a series of fixed work stations located along the belt surface. Attachments can also be designed to convey parts through an assembly or test sequence.
|
|
Metal belts and pulleys can be coated with a variety of coatings. When specified to take advantage of their many unique benefits, coatings can be used to enhance, modify or alter the surface characteristic of the steel belt. Coatings can be used to change surface hardness of the pulley or belt, providing wear resistance, or altering the coefficient of friction between the belt and pulley.
|
|
Plain metal belts are 'featureless', meaning they posess no perforations, attachments or coatings. They are manufactured by using a high energy beam to terminate two ends of a metal strip and form a belt. They are used in conveying, heat sealing, casting, and imaging applications. They are typicaly found in applications which can take advantage of 4 to 16 micro inch surface finishes, themal and electrical conductivity, and magnetic properties.

Rockline® RBP1 Belt Positioner
The Rockline® RBP1 Belt Positioner™ is the simple, reliable solution for problem belts that continuously mistrack to one side of the conveyor. The Belt Positioner works on the return side belt using simple angled rollers mounted in a fixed position to quickly and continuously funnel the belt into the correct path.
The RBP1 Belt Positioner’s innovative design does not rely on a pivoting mechanism to move and steer a wandering belt like conventional tracking units. The RBP1’s two idler rollers are adjusted to the belt and create a funneling action that continuously "positions" the belt into the correct path. Many times in as few as 5 revolutions of the belt the results can be seen. Plus, the idler rollers on the RBP1 make smooth contact with the return side belt’s bottom cover and not on the belt’s edges which can cause excessive wear and damage to the belt.
Installed before the tail pulley, the Belt Positioner keeps the belt centered at its critical loading point. The RBP1 can also be used at the head pulley, before or after the take-up pulley or anywhere on the return beltline where there is a belt tracking problem. It can also be used on reversing belts.
The RBP1 Belt Positioner comes assembled and ready to install. Simply preset the unit for the conveyor structure width, position the unit on the belt and bolt or weld in place. Adjust the rollers to the belt and watch the results.

Rockline® RMC1 Skirt Clamps provide the cost-effective solution to material spillage problems in your conveyor loading zones. A good material containment system at the loading point reduces conveyor problems and saves cleanup costs. It stops material loss, eliminates safety hazards and reduces wear and premature failure of conveyor components. RMC1 Skirt Clamps are designed for easy installation, quick maintenance and years of service.
RMC1 Skirt Clamps come in a standard 4" (1200mm) length. An optional "Limited Space" (LS) model is available for tight chute configurations or for portable equipment. Also offered is a "Pick-A-Length" (PAL PAK) option for longer length or special length requirements. The RMC1 handles a variety of skirt rubber sizes. It can also be used with a range of skirt rubber thicknesses from 5/16" (8mm) to 3/4" (19mm).
The RMC1 features a no-hassle installation with few parts. First the clamp pins are positioned on the conveyor's skirt board and welded into place. Then the clamp plates are hung on the pins and the clamp bar and the skirt rubber are inserted. And finally, the clamp bar is tack welded to the plates.
All installation and maintenance work can be done safely from the sides of the conveyor. Just tap loose the locking wedges on the clamp pins, reposition the skirt rubber and relock the pins. The rest of the parts interlock so when the pins are unlocked, they remain in place supporting the skirt rubber while maintenance is completed.

Goodyear EP's Plylon is a poly/nylon reinforced conveyor belt that provides an economical alternative to Plylon Plus® in less-demanding applications.
Excellent fastener holding retention
Plylon belt constructions offer superior mechanical fastener holding. Heavy polyester/nylon cords positioned for maximum strength resist fastener pull-out even in abusive conditions.
Reduced stretch
The combination of fabric design and dip process provides less elastic and permanent elongation on all specifications. This minimizes take-up concerns and reduces the number of splices at break-in. Contact your local Goodyear representative to calculate permanent and elastic elongation requirements for your specific systems.
High-strength crimped cords absorb impact
By straightening on impact, the crimped warp cords enable the fabric to absorb impact loads and resist tearing. Plylon belting maintains the integrity of mechanical or vulcanized splices under demanding conditions.
Polyester/nylon fabric carcass (110 lbs. per ply)
Plylon belting is designed to handle sand, gravel and small stone applications. The polyester-nylon fabric reinforcement provides greater breaking strength, impact and tear resistance than competitive brands.
