PRD - Single-Stage Diaphragm Pressure Regulator
Description: The PRD-ANB-C-DEF regulator sets an industry standard for miniaturization as well as lightweight. It is an excellent choice for gas and pneumatic pressure regulation applications and is particularly useful when space and weight are critical. The PRD-ANB-C-DEF weighs approx. 25 grams in brass & stainless steel and about 15 grams in aluminum. The PRD-ANB-C-DEF non-relieving regulator controls output pressures from 0 to 30 psig and is especially suited to low pressure regulation such as ˝ psig. Maximum inlet supply pressure is 500 psig. Both the inlet and outlet ports are tapped 10-32 UNF. Its lightweight design allows convenient in-line mounting however a 10-32 threaded panel mount option is also offered. Applications include hydrogen fuel cells, medical equipment, instruments, laboratory equipment, ink jet print engines, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Material: Brass, aluminum, 303 & 316 stainless steel.
Seals: Buna-N. Optional materials: EPDM and Viton®.

Description: The new PRD2 –ANB-C-DEF two-stage nonrelieving diaphragm regulator sets an industry standard for both miniaturization and light weight. It weighs approx. 50 grams in brass and stainless steel, and about 23 grams in aluminum. It accurately reduces high-pressure inputs (up to 500 psi) down to 0 to 20 psi (and is especially suited to low pressure regulation such as ˝ psi.) with minimal droop or rise even with wide swings in inlet pressure. The Beswick two-stage diaphragm regulator is an excellent choice if the inlet pressure will decay over time such as with hydrogen storage tanks commonly used in hydrogen fuel cell applications. Both the inlet and outlet ports are tapped M3. Its lightweight design allows convenient in-line mounting however a 10-32 threaded panel mount option is also offered.
Beswick Engineering designs and manufactures high-performance miniature fluid power components, such as: fittings, valves, quick disconnects, pressure regulators/gauges, cylinders, filters, orifices, shock absorbers, pressure electric switches, tubing, etc. Applications include: medical and dental equipment, instruments, laboratory equipment, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, aerospace equipment, packaging machinery, industrial robots and many more. |

| The valves to membrane are planned in order to distribute material of lower-middle viscosity with a high degree of precision and doses of varied form and dimensions till fractions of microliter. The closing to motivating force assures the compatibility of the valves with the telephones exchange time/pressure. The short race of opening concurs the positive and fast closing of the valve. The metal ring of regulation of the race allows specifies settaggi of the dimension of the dose to distribute. The compact design with assembly geometries is horizontals that vertical concur great flexibility and facility of integration in the automated applications. The room of the fluid is in polyethylene to highest molecular weight (UHMWPE) for the majority of the applications, but he is available also in Teflon® for requirements of chemical compatibility and in Delrin® for UV. A version in stainless steel is moreover available (5622VU-DVD), with circuit of the fluid optimized specifically for the adhesive ones to polymerization UV, rendered of it and enamels used in the production of DVD and CD. The valves demand little maintenance, are easy to use and concur a fast substitution of pieces of reciprocation. The valve is available also in the palm version with commando to manual lever. |

THE MATERIAL
Butyl: The polymer butyl (IIR - isobutylene isoprene - rubber) is an elastomer with a small number of double bonds, produced through co-polymerisation of isobutylene and isoprene.
EPDM: The polymer EPDM, ethylene-propylene rubber, is produced through co-polymerisation of ethylene, propylene and diene monomer, producing a polymer made up of saturated linear macromolecules with a paraffinic structure.
In addition to the base polymer, both EPDM and Butyl contain reinforcing carbon black, fillers, process chemicals, antioxidants and vulcanising agents. After mixing the ingredients into a homogenous plastic compound, two layers of the rubber are rolled out in a calender to form a double sheet. Vulcanisation is then carried out. The long rubber molecules in the material are cross-linked through heat and pressure, creating an elastic membrane.
RESISTANT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
The vulcanisation process means that the material differs from all thermoplastic products, in that its properties are not affected by varying temperatures. The product is chemically stable and always returns to its original dimensions after stretching.
The cross-linked molecular structure gives EPDM and Butyl rubber their unique properties. Ageing or changes in characteristics are negligible despite decades of exposure to the atmosphere, sunlight, UV radiation, chemical fallout, water or major temperature fluctuations.

The HILCO ceramic membrane system is an ideal way to lower your oily-water waste disposal costs. The filtration system utilizes high-velocity fluid “crossflow” across the face of the membrane. The oil-free water passes through the ceramic membrane while the oily waste is concentrated in a process reservoir. Depending on the particular waste stream disposal, volumes can be reduced as much as 20x. The system is designed to accept three different micron-rated membranes (0.2 µm, 0.01 µm, and 0.005 µm) in order to meet all specific local discharge ordinances.
Features and Benefits include:
• High Packing Density
• Broad PH Range of 2-13
• Resistant to Thermal Shock
• Back Flushable
• Immune to Chlorine Attack
• Durable Ceramic Extends Lifetime
• High Surface Area to Unit Volume
• Compact Design
