Description :
The Virtual Corset™ has been described as "a gentle reminder to stand up straight". A more erect posture can reduce trunk muscle activity, and may reduce the loads borne by the spinal column.
By combining an inclinometer, data logger and silent vibrating alarm in a tiny pager enclosure, the Virtual Corset™ keeps track of trunk inclination, and warns the wearer when a prescribed inclination angle limit has been reached. The clinician or therapist sets the unit's inclination limits, sample frequencies, and data save intervals using the serial port of a personal computer (PC); once programmed, the Virtual Corset may be disconnected from the PC. In the field, it performs its pre-programmed datalogging and biofeedback tasks while worn anywhere: during work, play, exercise, and rest.

SIR-3000 Series
Raid One Data Acquisition
The robust new SIR-3000 series recorders from Sony are a redundant, secure, customizable and networkable solution for today’s critical sound and vibration data acquisition requirements. The dependable new recorders limit the potential of having to repeat critical, difficult or expensive tests due to data acquisition failure.
The SIR-3000 Series features hot swappable, front mounted dual hard disk drives to protect valuable data in a RAID One array. The redundant high capacity 200GB drives insure high volume tests are accurately captured each and every time without the worry and expense of a drive or media failure.
Regardless of the sampling rate, the system accurately records data to the redundant hard disk drives at a 12Mbps recording rate. The test engineer can have direct access to specific data during post processing with the elimination of the need to wind and rewind the tape.
Sony has included data security features including a built-in Nickel metal-hydride battery back up for both main AC and DC power sources that provides an orderly shutdown to prevent data loss. The drive is also key lockable and can be quarantined for maximum-security.
Recording channels can be expanded up to 128 channels with additional units for data input. Two measuring unit options are also offered: the SIR-3032i with a sampling frequency of 48kHz(20kHz) or the SIR-3032W with a 192kHz(80kHz) sampling rate to further customize the system.

The XL2 is a handheld acoustical analyzer paired with a powerful Audio analyzer. The set of functions is ideal for testing, monitoring and logging of factory or machinery noise pollution.
The practical blend of electrical and acoustical functions, combined with computer connectivity through the standard USB interface, positions XL2 to be an indispensable tool for every engineer.
Acoustilyzer Features
Sound Level Meter
In addition to the familiar instantaneous and integrated sound pressure level (SPL) measurements, the repeatable LEQ and LCpeak measurements complete the event monitoring requirements.
The XL2 visualizes the actual audio spectrum (RTA) without interrupting ongoing sound level measurements. All measurement results may be logged to the internal memory for further investigations.
RTA, Real Time Analyzer
The enhanced real time spectrum analyzer (RTA) features high speed measurements with selectable 1/1 and 1/3 octave bandwidth. The RTA simultaneously provides real time single band SPL and LEQ measurements complying with the IEC 60804.
Stored spectra may be averaged or combined by using the available mathematical functions. The “Max-Min” display is particularly helpful for finding dominant room modes and characterization of listening areas.
Zoom FFT
Extremely fast, real-time Zoom FFT with resolutions up to 0.7Hz over the entire frequency range. The ideal tool for visualization of comb filters and narrow band effects. Features detailed cursor readout and data storage.

Data Logging Real Time Analyser
Description:
Model 30 Sound Level Meter & Real Time Analyser with 1:1 Octave Band Filters
The Model 30 (Class 1) and Model 30-2 (Class 2) are high performance, yet user friendly, integrating Sound Level Meters and Real Time Frequency Analysers.
Both models meet or exceed the latest standards for compliance with worldwide regulations and guidelines, making them ideal for most applications.
Taking measurements is as simple as pressing the 'record' and then 'stop' buttons. The wide single dynamic span of over 110dB ensures that you never make invalid measurements that 'Overload' or 'Under range'.
The Model 30 instruments simultaneously measures parameters with all Frequency and Time Weightings, this gives users the confidence to know they will always have the correct data for subsequent analysis.
Real Time Analysis allows users to measure all 10 individual 1:1 Octave Bands at the same time. This is very practical for reliable, accurate and rapid capture of variable noise levels to optimise the accurate prescription of hearing protection in industrial environments.
The Model 30 series can also be supplies as a Noise Measurement Kit containing all that is required to carry out a noise survey, including a Model 30 Sound Level Meter, Acoustic Calibrator, Windshield, Hard Attache Carrying Case, Wrist Strap, Carrying Pouch, Software, Calibration Certificates, Download Cable & Batteries.

Colour Coded Sound with the CEL-620
Casella CEL has developed a colour-coded display system for sound level meters which simplifies use and reduces the risk of misinterpreting data. The new 620 series of pocket sized meters incorporate a high resolution colour display into the smallest and easiest to use sound level meter on the market.
The colour readout assists the user by displaying results in a simple colour coded format that is impossible to misinterpret. Ease of use has been a key design goal in the development of this instrument, so from simple point and shoot measurements to full industrial hygiene assessments, all measurements can be performed quickly and easily.
The CEL-620 uses digital technology that can measure in a range up to 140dB, dismissing the need for range adjustment and eliminating reading errors which may result. It measures all occupational noise parameters simultaneously; rather than changing the instrument setup you simply change which noise parameters you wish to view knowing that all parameters can be viewed afterwards even if not selected at the time. "The CEL-620 really presents the next generation of workplace sound level meters," said Tim Turney, Product Manager for Casella CEL. "A real-time octave band analyser has never been so compact and yet filled with technology designed to make life easier for the health and safety professional."
The CEL-620 is supplied as a kit in a rugged briefcase, which includes an acoustic calibrator, windshield, software and USB download cable. Instrument and calibrator come with calibration certificates as standard, documenting compliance with the latest IEC 61672 Sound Level Meter standard.
