For longer term measurements, the WK2 kit uses a complete integral outdoor microphone assembly, which has a superior degree of weather protection for the microphone capsule.

Vib008, Don’t let pain take hold!
Directive 2002/44/EC deals with the determination of limits and action values, for the daily exposure to vibration. Two physiological domains are addressed: the “hand-arm” and the “whole-body” domains, the acceptable statutory values of which are specified. The experimental protocol, as well as indicators relevant for assessment, is defined in Standards ISO 5349-2 and ISO 2631-1.
01dB-Metravib introduces a new portable instrument Vib008 that perfectly meets the requirements of this statutory application. This metrological instrument connected to a triaxial accelerometer is installed on site. Vib008 integrates a presence detector on the whole-body plate in order to activate subsequently the signal storage. The TK81 Tunable Filter/Vibration Meter is a low-cost, portable handheld instrument for basic vibration measurements. It can display vibration in both unfiltered (overall) and filtered modes. It accepts inputs from displacement, velocity, and acceleration transducers, but does not provide power for them.
Its filtering capability is particularly useful for diagnosing vibration problems occurring at particular frequencies on all types of machinery. The TK81 is powered by a single 9V transistor battery.
