Innovative hardware
The compact diagnosis system efector octavis evaluates vibration signals using the methods of frequency analysis. The system uses a micromechanical acceleration sensor. Data can be collected, processed and evaluated decentrally with no expert know-how required.
Continuous monitoring
efector octavis is designed for the early detection of rolling element bearing damage or unbalance. Continuous monitoring offers a reliable and cost-effective solution as compared to intermittent methods.
The unit type VB1001 monitors up to two different objects. The unit type VE1001 can monitor up to five different objects or 20 individual frequencies. An object is defined as a rolling element bearing or a shaft. With efector octavis permanent vibration monitoring is no longer a question of price.
The integrated expert
Acoustic emission is detected, the frequency spectrum is calculated and e.g. the rolling element bearing state, the unbalance etc. are evaluated. The condition can be directly read on site and is signalled by binary switching outputs. The switching signal can be transmitted via unscreened cables. Connection to bus systems
is possible.

RPR-CONTROL-100
ELECTRONIC PROTECTION
is the efficient monitoring system for
centrifugal pumps of up to 20kW.
Electronic monitoring of motor currents protects the pump from dry running, overheating and overload.
If the above mentioned operating states are not absolutely impossible with your installation, you should use an electronic process monitor to switch off the pump before it is damaged. Such monitors will not only avoid damage to the pump, but also downtime and costs resulting thereof. At the same time, the monitor checks the pumping process for the set delivery rate. Once the cause of a malfunction is eliminated, the pump is immediately ready to continue operation. The process monitor is easy to install into the pump’s power supply unit. As it is not necessary to build it into pipe runs, this process monitor also is ideal to retrofit existing installations.
FUNCTION
An overload controller with analogue output monitors the actual
power of the pump motor. There are four switching thresholds defined:
• dry-running (fault, the motor is switched off);
• overheating (fault, the motor is switched off);
• overload (fault, the motor is switched off);
• filter contaminated (warning).
The switching thresholds are user-programmable.
Also included is a real-time clock with elapsed-time meter, e. g. to monitor maintenance intervals.

Intelligent vibration monitoring
The design of the OneProd MVX system is based on 2 simple principles resulting from over 15 years’ experience in the permanent monitoring of industrial machines:
•Multiple measurements are useless if the operating conditions of the machines are not known;
•All measurement channels must be acquired and processed simultaneously in order to analyse machines with variable speed or intermittent operating.
Operators using many online current monitoring systems are faced with quasi permanent alarms. This comes from the fact that the operating conditions of the machines change, whereas measurement settings remain the same.
With the OneProd MVX system, not only are the operating conditions of the machines taken into account (speed, load, etc.), but data processing is also suited to these conditions. A real monitoring strategy is then implemented for outstanding quality and reliability of the information.
OneProd MVX includes 8 to 32 measurement channels and now allows integrating vibration analysis to electrical analysis based on the additional transducers and solutions of OneProd System (see OneProd ESA data sheet).

It is typically necessary to conduct measurements at the location of the future installation of ultra-accurate 3D measurement machines in order to guarantee that existing floor vibrations do not exceed the maximum allowed values. Vibrational accelerations are measured within a defined frequency range, (1-100 Hz) as a simple sum value measurement cannot provide a sufficient amount of information about the exact conditions. Evaluation of the force-distance signal is conducted with a Fast Fourier Analyzer that displays a measured value for each frequency of the spectrum. (vibration acceleration in g) In case the disturbances (vibration immissions) exceed the permissible range, our PC calculation software can help to ascertain the suitable isolation. Very precise vibration analysis in the lower frequency range can be conducted with a highly-sensitive geophone. Vibration speeds of under 0.01µm/s in the range of 0.2 to 30Hz can be recorded with a geophone. Especially in the semiconductor, nanotechnology, and ultra-precise 3D measurement industries it is necessary to conduct very precise vibration measurements in order to guarantee an optimal and client-specific configuration.

The Reovib BK032 is a monitoring unit for vibratory feeders. By using this measuring device in conjunction with an accelerometer e.g. Reovib SW10, vibration levels can be monitored. An acceptance window can be set defining adjustable maximum and minimum limits. If either of these values are exceeded then a corresponding relay will operate. During the unstable, start-up phase a time delay can be set so that spurious readings are ignored. The unit has a built-in sensor power supply available for direct connection. A 4...20mA signal can be used instead of an accelerometer.
