The AKU2000 is a surface-mountable, digital-output silicon microphone which is optimal for use in microphone array applications where a high of degree noise immunity is required. The AKU2000 integrates an acoustic transducer, analog pre-amplifier, and a 4th order sigma-delta modulator on a single chip. The output of the microphone is Pulse Density Modulated (PDM), or a single-bit digital output stream that can be connected to downstream electronics for a high degree of design flexibility and freedom.

The AKU2004 is a top ported, surface mountable, digital output microphone
designed for microphone arrays integrated on camera modules. As a full Voice-to- Bits™ digital audio solution, the AKU2004 handles the analog voice signal arriving at the transducer through several levels of on chip processing until the voice signal is digital and ready for interface formatting. For the manufacturer, this translates to a microphone array solution that is virtually immune to all forms of Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) while at the same time decreasing design complexity and improving time-to-market.

The AKU2001 is a surface-mountable, digital-output silicon microphone with a tri-state output, allowing the outputs of two microphones to be multiplexed together and share a single data line. The AKU2001 integrates an acoustic transducer and a 4th-order sigma-delta modulator on a single chip. The output of the AKU2001 is Pulse Density Modulated (PDM), or a single-bit digital output stream that can be decimated by a digital filter in downstream electronics such as an audio CODEC, DSP, or base band processor.

The M4260 is the ideal measurement microphone for the XL2. Operated with 48V phantom power the M4260 is an extremly accurate and stable measurement microphone.
The servo-loop output stage design supports long cable connections between the analyzer and the microphone - up to several hundred meters. M4260 is also recommended and easy to use in conjunction with PC based measurement systems with high quality audio cards.

Roga MI-17 ICP® (IEPE) measuring microphone - Description:
These 1/4"- ICP® (IEPE) measuring microphones are pressure transducers. The model MI-17 have integrated electronics, and can be delivered with sensitivities from 10 to 100 mV/Pa at tolerances of within ± 5 %. Special custom versions are also possible. Power supplies for the microphones can be either a constant current source of 2 - 6 mA (standard version) or a constant voltage source 4 - 30 Volts. Normally the microphones are fitted with BNC-connectors (fem.) allowing standard BNC-BNC cables to be used. Other connectors such as TNC, SMB, Lemo or ìdot are also available on request.

PCB Automotive Sensors Debuts High Temperature Preamplifier
Operating to +120 °C for NVH Powertrain & Vehicle Underhood Testing
The Automotive Sensors division of PCB Piezotronics (PCB®) has announced release of a new high-temperature preamplifier, designed to overcome high temperature testing challenges associated with NVH powertrain and vehicle underhood testing applications, and to broaden options for NVH test engineers collecting acoustic data in high temperature areas.
Automotive engineers routinely perform NVH tests in areas around the powertrain, where elevated operating temperatures can present major measurement challenges. Underhood temperatures can peak at +125 0C under normal driving conditions, and can be significantly higher near turbochargers and exhaust system components, such as manifolds and diesel particulate filters. In the past, test engineers were limited by preamplifiers offering temperature ranges to + 70 °C. Model HT426E01 is a 1/2" preamplifier operating from ICP sensor power, terminating with BNC connector and utilizing standard coaxial cables. The model features a low attenuation factor (-0.06 dB) and low noise characteristics, 4.9 µV, based on an A-weight scale.
Common applications include underhood measurements for benchmarking and issue identification, including engine radiated, induction, ancillary and turbocharger noise; near-field measurements on manifolds; mufflers; exhaust after treatment components; and tailpipe noise. NVH groups within OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers involved with testing of powertrain components will benefit most from this product.
