DYMAX UV adhesives cure in seconds upon exposure to longwave ultraviolet light and/or visible light. A UV adhesive can help optimize the speed of automated assembly by enabling 100% in-line inspection and increased product throughput. UV cure industrial adhesives are available for plastic sealing, metal bonding and glass assembly as well as for joining dissimilar substrates such as glass to plastic and glass to metal. A special line of adhesives is available for the activator curing (also known as "cold bonding") of metal substrates, ferrite, motors, magnets and speaker components.
Master Bond reactive acrylic adhesive systems are two part “no mix” compositions. A primer is applied on one substrate and the adhesive on the other. Cure commences when the two substrates are brought together in intimate contact. These adhesives offer fast cures at ambient temperatures to a wide variety of metallic and non metallic substrates. They feature high bond strength, flexibility and chemical resistance. The service operating temperature range is up to 250°F. Particularly desirable is their capability to bond to oily and/or greasy substrates.
