Duplocoll/Duplotac
The high performance pure acrylic adhesive delivers secure bonding in a variety of applications. The adhesive has been designed to provide a permanent bond even at high temperatures and its properties include resistance to extreme chemical exposure.
The new adhesive system is available as rollstock or as double-sided-linered sheets with moisture-resistant polyethylene coated paper liners. The excellent stay-flat characteristics of the sheets provide outstanding die-cutting properties.
Applications:
- signs
- membrane keyboards
- front panels
- bonding of components on printed circuit boards
- RFID- labels
- electromagnetic shielding
- Laminating of foams for high-perfomance gaskets on electronic components

* All foil tapes offer excellent conformability. They are also water resistant and offer a total vapour barrier.
* All foil tapes from Advance have a white siliconised release liner and are very easy to unwind.
* All foil tapes from Advance are fully anneeled and are as soft as production processes allow.
* All foil tapes from Advance have emulsion based acrylic adhesive. Acrylic adhesive increases its bond with age, conversely, it will also peel clean if left for a short period of time.
* All foil tapes are easy to tear.
* Foil tapes should be applied at between +10°C and +40°C
* Surfaces should also be as clean and dry as possible with any loose material and dust removed as far as possible
* Tapes should be stored at a temperature of no lower than +5°C. If tape is left in a van or unheated warehouse in the winter months, it will need time to warm up prior to application.

The term 'filmic tapes' covers a broad spectrum of carriers which includes PVC and polyethylene. Filmic tapes do look alike but they all have individual differences that make them ideally suited to specific applications. To help you make an informed decision about what tape to choose for your application, follow the guidelines below and throughout this site.

Outstanding dimensional stability and tensile strength are the primary characteristics of PTFE coated glass-fabric pressure sensitive tape. Other features include:
Excellent strength
High heat resistance
Non-stick surface
Exceptional wear life
Available in the following grades:
Standard Grade (6085) - Preferred for most adhesive applications, smooth surface with remarkable non-stick properties.
Premium Grade (6095) - The smoothest surface for the most demanding applications

Filmic tapes do look alike but they all have individual differences that make them ideally suited to specific applications. All Filmic tapes:
* Will peel clean from most surfaces.
* Have a writable surface except for AT6000 which has a silicone coating.
* Have some degree of electrical insulation due to the polymers present in the tape's manufacture.
* Have high elongation properties.
* Conform to awkward surfaces very well.
* Are generally water resistant.
* Have non-corrosive adhesives making them unlikely to react with the surface they are in contact with.
* Should be applied at temperature between +10°C and +40°C.
* Finally, please note; PVC is inherently flame retardant but polyethylene will burn easily.
* Low tack protection tapes actually have high tack but have low adhesion which enables them to peel clean from most surfaces.

tesa offers the most comprehensive range of TPP strapping adhesive tapes in the industry. TPP is a high strength film substitute for filament tape. There is a cost advantage to using TPP over filament tape since TPP gains its strength from the film and not the filaments. tesa combines a variety of adhesive systems and backing grades to satisfy some of the most difficult applications in the industry. tesa offers TPP tapes in broad variety of colors, and size dimensions, including spools for continuous production.

Labels are printed using, amongst other things, so-called "narrow and mid-web" flexographic printing. The difference to the printing of flexible packaging lies in the size of the printing cylinder. Label printing is carried out with a smaller cylinder circumference, and the print runs are also smaller.
A frequent change of motifs, a large number of different types of content and information on the label, as well as complex designs, demand the highest print quality. Lohmann offers a broad selection of plate mounting tapes for flexographic label printing with the DuploFLEX® 3 and 4 series. These adapt perfectly to the different requirements when printing labels.

These qualities are double-side self-adhesive mounting tapes consisting of a closed-cell polyethylene foam and are equipped with a special pressure-sensitive acrylate adhesive. These tapes are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. High initial and rapid final adhesive strength required for mounting of Georgian profiles are accomplished through the application of VITOMOUNT 125. Subsequent sealing of the joint within the marginal zone between the window glass and the Georgian profile is, in principle, conformable to the present technical standard and is absolutely obligatory. The recommended temperature of application should be between + 18°C and + 30°C. Since Georgian profiles of different materials such as, for example, wood, metals and plastics are applied, the prevailing conditions must be optimally respected by the choice of the adequate thickness.
