With the sieve shaker AS 450 RETSCH have designed their first siever for 400 mm and 450 mm sieves which operates with a three-dimensional sieving motion. It can be used for dry and wet sieving. The optimized electromagnetic drive allows for an amplitude up to 2.2 mm which renders the separation process much more effective than with other sieve shakers of this type.

The ANALYSETTE 18 is primarily used for particle size analysis and grading of coarse-grained materials. The maximum feed quantity of 25 kg for sieving material and sieve stack means it can also be used in pilot plant production or in test series for larger quantities.
It is used wherever manual sieving is replaced by mechanical sieving in order to lower costs or achieve greater reproducibility. A maximum sample quantity of up to 6 kg can be processed in the measuring range 63 μm to 125 mm. Sieve process times are between 5 and 60 minutes.
Used with the evaluation programme AUTOSIEVE means that sieving results are not only available more quickly but are also more reliable. Weighing as well as calculation errors for the individual sieve fractions are thus avoided, as the computer carries out the complete analysis.

This combined shaker and incubator is ideal for scientists doing cell culturing procedures, especially suspension culture applications. It is compact enough to be positioned on the laboratory bench.
The shaker provides an orbital shaking motion, adjustable between 30 to 300rpm with a gentle start action. The shaking speed is microprocessor controlled and set via the digital LED control panel. The incubator also incorporates a versatile digital timer which can be set from 1 second to 9 days. After the timer has counted down the shaking action will stop and an alert will sound, as a safety feature the incubator will continue to run.
The SI500 platform has a versatile clamping system which secures most sizes and mixtures of flask up to 1 litre capacity. Typically, the platform will accommodate the following Erlenmeyer flasks: 12 x 250 ml, or 9 x 500 ml or 6 x 1000 ml.
A wide range of stainless steel accessory racks are available to hold 1.5ml, 15ml and 50ml sample tubes. Accessory racks are held to the orbiting platform by a patent pending Magnalock system, allowing quick coupling and de-coupling without tools.
