Differents types:
Direct Drive Agitator - Air Powered direct drive agitator assembly with 1/2 hp air motor and a three bade propeller to keep materials in suspension even with high solids.
Indirect Air Motor Drive - Standard duty, smooth running with gear reducer, 1/2hp, 15:1 ratio, 20 to 120 RPM. Inc throttling valve, fittings and hoses for connection to air supply on tank lid. Air consumption is approx 6CFM @ 50RPM.
Reciprocating Air Motor Drive - 180° reciprocating action provides excellent agitation of all types of materials. Particularly important for waterborne shear sensitive materials. Very low air consumption

Vessel Process
VMI-Rayneri offers a wide range of manufacturing stations (formulation bowls, dissolution bowls, suspension bowls, storage bowls, heaters) aligning a blending system at 1, 2 or 3 movements as required and a bowl equipped with specific functionalities: - vacuum / pressure- heating / cooling- spring balance
The simple agitators are made from the range of VMI-Rayneri agitators, according to the specificity of the mixture to achieve.
The product agitations of more complex rheology and/or implementing thermal exchanges can be achieved by systems of the Multimix line.
The products requiring a simultaneous action of circulation and shearing effects can be obtained from the Trimix range of machines, combining the effect of a central agitator, a bowl scraper and an emulsifier/disperser in bottom ofvessel.
The all stainless steel Heaters proposed by VMI-Rayneri, designed for melting of blocks, sequins, etc..., integrate an electrical heating as well as an agitation of anchor type promoting thermal exchange. The ergonomic design of these heaters allows easy block loading, and they can evolve into real temperature-controlled bowls, integrating an optional disperser or a cooler.

Agitator for digestion or methanization tank
Sludge coming from waste water plants is full of methane.
In order to reduce volume of sludge (30 to 40%) and to deodorize it, sludge is transformed inside a digestion or methanization tank.
An agitator turns in this heated tank, separating methane from sludge. This methane is collected at the top of the tank and used to heat tank.
Then, digested sludge is dehydrated and used to fertilize agricultural soil.
MIXEL has designed a new agitator for equipping digestion or methanization tank:
- vertical agitator, with double level of propellers (TTF profiles propellers, with converging edge to avoid aggregation of tows;

In the delivery state (clamping ring barrel) the material is prepared and conditioned for use and transfer to the spray gun. Due to the pneumatic lid lifter, an empty barrel can be replaced easily with a full one. System components:

Mixers for dispersion
The mixing of very thick products and the dispersion of highly loaded ingredients are complex subjects that have been VMI Rayneri's specialty for many years.
The Supermix II, have been specially designed to achieve dispersions of solids in liquids, such as typically used in the manufacture of paints, inks, varnishes and other covering coatings.
The adjustable Multimix, dual coaxial movement blenders (slow/slow or slow/fast) mounted on an adjustable head allow the pasting and the dispersal of high viscosity products. Their fixed cover allows them to work in vacuum mode or under pressure.
Combining the characteristics of a slow agitation to a rapid agitation, Dual Rotor Dispersers (DRD) are the production tools par excellence for plastisol, inks, mastics or complex coating products. They are made of a pendular tool of slow mixing (butterfly type), homogenizing the product without heating it, and of a second off center shaft, equipped with a radial flow blade (deflocculator type for example), favoring the dispersion of solid particles within the viscous mixture.
