MET MANN presents its new VIS MANN air curtains which provide an air barrier that prevents exterior air inflow.
Its main function is that one of keeping the premises internal temperature, preventing the heat loss inside of it.

All Save-T Air Doors/Air Curtains are easy to install, quiet, and efficient. Most doors can be ordered with either electric or hot water/steam heaters. Heaters are mounted to the intake side of the air door unit and can raise the temperature of the exiting air stream by as much as 30°F. Indirect Gas fired heaters are recommended for larger industrial doors.

General purpose air curtain
Comfort air curtain, model SF, has been designed as an all round air curtain, suitable for 'normal conditons'. Like all other Biddle air curtains, model SF also comes with the patented rectifier technology. This ensures that the comfort is high (low air velocity) and that heated air stays in the building, resulting in maximum efficiency.
Ambient models are in some situations, very well suitable for climate separation in industrial environments like cold stores and chill rooms, where a low ventilation level exists.
By linking multiple air curtains next to each other, the air curtain can cover any width.

Perfect working conditions with IndAC industrial air curtain
The IndAC model makes entrances in industrial buildings accessible for transport and prevents draught problems in the building. To provide a complete screening of the huge doorways, the air curtain must discharge large air volumes. Therefore, the discharge pattern in the IndAC model has been optimised. Using the patented, combined rectifier, the air is blown out through the curved discharge grille with as little as possible resistance. The air stream reaches the floor in a straight, vertical line, so that a minimum of energy is consumed. The homogeneous discharge pattern provides for optimum heating of cold outdoor air, thus eliminating draught in the building.
Various mounting positions
The air curtain can be mounted in different ways, so that the curved discharge grille will always be as close as possible to the door, which screens off the doorway completely. The modular design makes that multiple air curtains can be easily linked next to or above one another, so they can cover each and every door height or width.

All round air curtain for industrial buildings
The industrial air curtain, model InduForce (IF), has been designed as an all round "fit to all doors" air curtain for industrial doorways. Thanks to the Biddle rectifier a lower air velocity is needed to cover the entrance and less energy is lost to the exterior.
The IF keeps the warm air inside the building, so this air does not have to be continually heated up or cooled down, thus saving energy. The air curtain supplies part of the heat capacity that is needed for the room. This capacity can be deducted from the total climate control equipment required.
Model IF can be installed above or at the side of the door. For climate reasons, Biddle recommends a vertical air stream, which means that the units should best be installed above the door. If there are architectural limitations, it is possible to install the unit at one or both sides of the door.
Horizontal mounting:
The air outlet grille should not be higher than 5 meters above the floor. Any door width is possible when units are placed next to each other.
Vertical mounting:
If the air curtain is installed at one side of the door, the max. door width is 4 metres. With an air curtain on both sides, door widths up to 6 metres are attainable. Several units can be placed on top of each other to cover higher door heights.

The MAT model is Biddle's state of the art air curtains since, from a technological point of view. This is the most advanced air curtain that has been developed so far.
Separating the climates between the coldstore and the ambient area, where temperature differences of 40°C may occur, without blocking the passage. The MAT Air Curtain:

Nex Flow air blade air knives are superior to competitive units for the following reasons:
- All our air knives are full flow which means they can be put end to end for continuous flow and takes up less space in tight areas. Even one competitor's so-called full-flow standard answer to our Nex Flow standard air blade air knife is not nearly as efficient as ours by their own published values and is only a small, flimsy version in comparison.
- All our air knives come with a stainless steel shim to maintain the gap for the compressed air to exit. Many companies use plastic shims which may be "squeezed" for uneven flow but more important, no matter how clean you make the compressed air line, the plastic will wear. Plastic shims is one of the biggest complaints customers have with air knives - Nex Flow however uses stainless steel shims as a standard in all air knives.
