The separation of fumes created during laser cutting requires a special filter medium for submicron particles. In such installations SINBRAN® filters have proved their efficiency over several thousand hours of operation, with emission levels below the detectable limits.
SINBRAN® filter elements are environmentally friendly and are, therefore, suitable for use in the pharmaceutical and food industries. Combined with our newly developed, innovative pre-coating process, SINBRAN® is suitable for the separation of aerosols of organic material, such as those created during laser cutting operations. In the past they could only be treated by complicated processes utilizing wet scrubbers, catalysts or thermal incineration. Dry operating filter units clogged irreversibly within a few days.
With our special pre-coating process (patent pending), an
auxiliary layer is created on the surface of the filter elements.
This coat protects the actual filter surface from adhesive
substances, while absorbing a large portion of hydrocarbons.
The system can also be used for the separation of adhesive
substances or particles.

Mikropor Miko-Mat Disposable Panel Filters
The Mikro-Mat fiber glass mat media is formed in a graded density pattern, growing progressively from the the air intake side to the downstream side, allowing dirt to build-up by particle size, to ensure maximum filter life. The media design eliminates face loading.
Mikro-Mat Construction: The enclosure frame is made of two die-cut pieces of heavy-duty board bonded together to form a double wall. For both media, the frames can also be constructed from other types of materials including galvanized steel, stainless steet, aluminum, etc.). Custom sizes can be specified.
Mikropor Miko-Pleat Disposable Panel Filters
The Mikro-Pleat filtering media is made of non-woven synthetic fibers manufactured for high dust-holding capacities. It is treated with a fire retardent additive for safety purposes. The filter media is bonded to an expanded metal support grid (in a diamond pattern). The grid has 98% open face area to increase media performance. The pleated design provides uniform pleat configuration for maximum performance.
The Mikro-Pleat filtering media is more efficient in environments where more uniform and finer dust particleds are present.

A panel filter is a filter media fitted into a frame to be inserted into the dust collector. U.S. Air Filtration panel filters are available in permanent panel filters or disposable panel filters, and are made with media such as fiberglass, synthetic, tackified, and polyester. Panel filters are available with a pinch frame or die cut box frame in 1" or 2" thickness.

EQP/DQP/MQP Pleated Panel filters

Return Air Grille Filters residential replacement filters are designed to fit existing air filter grilles. "Quality Seal" Ring Panel filters are constructed of two layers of polyester material heat sealed around an internal wire grid support. The graduated density and tackification of media combines high dust retention with good efficiency. The internal wire support is heavy gauge steel to withstand high air velocity. Polyester overlap around the support wire offers a self supporting positive seal to eliminate bypass. "Quality Seal" Link filters are a connected series of ring panel filters, preventing bypass between filters.

ATI Dust Filters are narrow profile EMI dust and air filters. An aluminum frame surrounds aluminum tinsel media and is welded in place. Aluminum tinsel media filters the air and entraps dust particles. The aluminum frame and tinsel media combination performs as a gasket. Alco-Knit gaskets are supplied on select extrusion profiles. Dust filters are supplied in standard .172 through hole diameters for easy installation mounting. Depending upon location, filters may be vacuum cleaned in place or removed and blown with light compressed air or cleaned with mild detergent. This temporarily blocks the path of compressed air through the normally open filter structure and increases the operating pressure drop as the air flow has to force liquids through the fine matrix of the filtration media. The process is founded on the deposition of particles (fogs, dust, bacteria,...) contained in the air and gases, by a system of ionization and electrofiltration. The flow of air charged with particles crosses a cylindrical tube. An electrode ionizes the particles which then are collected and trapped by a metal knitting in periphery.
This principle makes it possible to purify, cleanse, recycle and deodorize the ambient air of public spaces, or industrialists (Industries of treatments of waste, of refining, the iron and steel industry, the nuclear plants, the tunnels, the undergrounds, the offices, the hotels, the restaurants, the hospitals, agribusiness industries, the diesel engines....).
According to the Ecomesure study realized in 2007, ACOFILTRE-Atec makes it possible to destroy 99.9% of the toxic particles contained in the ambient air and in particular in confined spaces. This electrostatic precipitator can collect particles lower than 0. 03 Microns. (study at disposal)
Contrary to the other systems, ACOFILTRE-Atec is not stopped and requires a cleaning only every 2 years, without change of parts nor necessary particular technical skills. It functions with low as at high temperature, until 900°c. (For example, the power stations of treatment of air competitors function only until 100°c!). In addition ACOFILTRE-Atec makes it possible to treat great flows without pressure loss thus generating serious energy saving. This system is incorporated very easily in ventilation ducts.

We'd like you to believe that our custom fabric filters will solve all the world's dust problems, .but there are some pieces of equipment designed to only use a cartridge filter. A pleated media provides a very large filter surface area within a compact package.
The advantage is that a filter doesn't take up much volume in the workspace. Commercial air intakes and vents work well with this type of filter. Working with many custom and off-the-shelf suppliers, we can easily cross-reference virtually any product or modify a design to solve specific problems. The cartridge's disadvantage is that large amounts of (wood, flour, etc.) dust can quickly fill in the pleats and essentially block all airflow. Small wood shop collectors that collect dust inside the cartridge are a case in point. High replacement costs and tedious maintenance regimens have led more than one user to modify their collector to use our filter bags. We'd be glad to help you make the comparison.
