TROX offers a comprehensive range of high-quality bag filter inserts to cover all ventilation and air-conditioning applications. The bag filters are manufactured on modern production facilities at our filter factory. Many years of experience in the production of bag filters, the use of suitable materials and good processing ensure high quality products. The bag filter inserts are employed as pre-filters or main filters in ventilation and air-conditioning systems to extract fine dust. They are available in various designs offering different extraction and efficiency levels and in different lengths to enable optimum adaption to the prevailing requirements. The filters consist of a plastic face frame (metal frame available upon request) and the individual filter bags made of glass fibre fabrics with spunbonded fabric lining.
The bag filter inserts offer decisive advantages for the economical operation of filter plants:
– Optimum bag shape and filter surface of the bag filter inserts for high dust retention capacity at low pressure differentials
– Reduction in plant resistance through use of bag filter inserts with low initial pressure differentials
– Reduced energy consumption
– Short fitting and changing times due to simple and safe handling of the bag filter inserts
– Problem-free disposal of the filters. An expert body has confirmed that the bag filter inserts are suitable for disposal in modern incineration plants for
domestic refuse.

When it comes to baghouses, lots of people in the wood, plastics and food industries have seen one. (The key word here is "one".) Many think they're all similar. Actually, there have been several thousand manufacturers over the past century making a wildly diverse range of designs. The handful of makers that still exist do so because their products work.
Like many pieces of shop equipment, baghouse filters need periodic replacement. If your unit (or the affordable used one you just found at an auction) is almost an antique and/or you can't locate the OEM, we can make replacement bags or sleeves for it. In most cases our engineered fabrics will substantially improve its performance at the same time.

Advanced Production methods often require very clean air, and in many cases these requirements are certain to increase. For example, the electronics industry needs a very clean manufacturing environment for its VLSI circuit production (VLSI - Very Large Scale Integrated). The pattern width on the circuits may be 1 micrometer or less. There will be a need to control particle contamination down 1/10 of third dimension (0.1 micrometer).
The "heart" of the clean room is the filter, but there are various considerations regarding room classification, choice of filter, and how filters influence the environment.
Camfil Farr is recognized as the leading supplier of high efficiency filtration products for the microelectronics industry. HEPA/ULPA filters are produced within controlled environments in our ISO 9000-certified plants. We can produce the same type of filters at multiple manufacturing sites. Our large production capacity ensures the availability of our products at all times throughout the world.

Many allergists recommend high performance electrostatic air filters like the Dust Fighter 90 to reduce patient's exposure to airborne irritants. Breathing clean air can be a significant factor in a patient's well-being. By trapping dusts, pollens, molds, and animal dander as air circulates through the filter, the Dust Fighter 90 electrostatic air filter helps reduce your exposure to these symptom-causing allergens. This often means you breathe easier and have fewer symptoms.

PTM sterilizing grade cartridge filters are manufactured for the specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry. Manufactured with inherently hydrophobic PTFE membrane, these cartridges are designed for use in the filtration of aggressive solvents, and as compressed gas and vent filters. Each cartridge module is individually bubble point tested using 60/40 IPA and water before it is released from manufacture. The cartridge surface area, filter core design, pleat configuration and pleat packing density have been optimized to provide increased cartridge life resulting in lower filtration operating costs. Rugged construction ensures repeatable steaming and testing. PTM grade cartridges are 100% integrity tested.

Camfil Farr Gigapleat filters are a range of unique products based on the use of adsorbents that are incorporated in a non-woven fiber web. The adsorbents may be made from a very high quality carbon or ion-exchange resin. Variants are available for the removal of acids, bases and condensables.
The media is pleated into flat panels and the panels are mounted in a holding frame (cell, panel or header type). Camfil Farr expertise in pleating concepts and techniques ensures that the optimum combination of factors is obtained. In particular high efficiency and capacity values are achieved at low pressure loss.

Its round shape allows getting a cyclone effect on the inflowing polluted air, with precipitation of the dust and higher efficiency of the filter cartridges.
The filter, in the versions suitable for use in an explosive atmosphere, has round shape, conforming to the ATEX regulations.
Furthermore, filters are so dimensioned as to offer the highest filtering efficiency even with finest-grained sizing of dust, and the filter cleaning is obtained by reverse-flow blasting. Note that the cartridge blast-cleaning, handled by a system of solenoid valves controlled through electronic panel, needs no system shutdown and allows keeping the filter airflow rate steady for long. The modular construction permits to use several systems for the collection of the polluting matters in the filter bottom. Among others, we want to draw attention to the powered stellar valve, which is required for discharge in continuous processing systems, or the wheeled container with dedicated hopper, and the double-valve outlet for filamentous materials.

Camfil Farr has an extended range of medium efficiency pleated panel filters with cardboard or metal frames. All of them are produced according to the highest Camfil Farr standards.
One example is our Camfil Farr 30/30® filters. The Camfil Farr 30/30 has the highest performance and lowest energy consumption in its calss available.
Our exclusive media is bonded to a welded wire grid and then formed into a radial pleat, allowing full use of the media. This configuration allows the 30/30 filter to hold more dirt and last longer. The 30/30 frame is made of water-resistant beverage board instead of recycled cardboard, so the 30/30 will stand up to the worst conditions an HVAC system will present. No filter distortion or blowouts.
