The equipment made by LTA Industrial Air Cleaning can be divided into four main categories.
Source extraction:
contaminated air is extracted right at the source and cleaned.
Group extraction:
contaminated air from a group of machines is collected and cleaned locally.
Central exhaustion:
air to be cleaned is collected by a duct system, cleaned in a central system, and exhausted.
Industrial room air cleaning:
when operating open machines or to meet strict regulations on air purity, building air cleaning can be used.

Filtering liquids or air in hostile environments-such as those subject to temperature extremes, high orders of shock/vibration, and caustic fuels or fumes-has posed problems for paper filter elements. These types of elements simply will not withstand these types of operating conditions.
Since paper filters are typically composed of organic materials, they are also subject to attack by the caustic byproducts of many industrial processes- such as those involving combustion. For example, corrosion often takes place when high-temperature lubricating oils are loaded with such acids. After extended use, the surface area of the paper filter becomes heavily loaded, resulting in filter weak spots. (If the pressure relief valve is not set low enough, and the pressure is allowed to remain at normal operating pressure [500 to 700 kPa], paper filter elements may tear, fracture, or even burst.)
Sintered metal filters-due to their granular construction-are also prone to fracture or disintegration when subjected to the stresses of high temperature and shock. Unless the fusion process involved in their construction is 100% complete, small particles may begin to break away. As a result, when installed on either rotating or reciprocating machinery, little particles of filter material very frequently detach and migrate to block the very devices the filter was designed to protect. |

Our exclusive media is bonded to a welded wire grid and then formed into a radial pleat, allowing full use of the media. This configuration allows the 30/30 filter to hold more dirt and last longer. The 30/30 frame is made of water-resistant beverage board instead of recycled cardboard, so the 30/30 will stand up to the worst conditions an HVAC system will present. Camfil Farr Megalam Panel Filters provide fine airborne particulate control to meet the requirements of today's high technology cleanrooms, clean benches, and clean air devices. Each Camfil Farr Megalam Panel Filter includes:
- Micro glass fiber media in efficiencies from 95% @ 0.3 micron to 99.99995% @ MPPS1. The media is pleated using Camfil Farr's Controlled Media Spacing™ technology. CMS™ ensures optimized filter element depth and pleat spacing resulting in minimized configuration losses and low resistance to airflow. · Continuous glass filament separators to ensure uniform pleat spacing and form a rigid self supported media pack. Media-to-media contact, and associated fiber break-off, is eliminated.
- A heavy-duty, lightweight anodized aluminum frame for high-strength and ease of installation. The frame corners are secured with Camfil Farr's exclusive Klip-Lok™ mechanism for module durability and long-term integrity.

Our small flow filter line consists of three sizes of "T" type housings designed for flows up to100 scfm at 100 psig. The housings are fabricated using epoxy coated aluminum for the 35 and 60 scfm sizes and epoxy coated carbon steel for the 100 scfm size. They feature our high performance air and gas filter cartridges.

| ATI Dust Filters are narrow profile EMI dust and air filters. An aluminum frame surrounds aluminum tinsel media and is welded in place. Aluminum tinsel media filters the air and entraps dust particles. The aluminum frame and tinsel media combination performs as a gasket. Alco-Knit gaskets are supplied on select extrusion profiles. Dust filters are supplied in standard .172 through hole diameters for easy installation mounting. Depending upon location, filters may be vacuum cleaned in place or removed and blown with light compressed air or cleaned with mild detergent. ATI Dust Filters are primarily used at air intake locations requiring narrow space limitations to entrap dust particles, shield and cool air flow. |

| ATI 3-Layer Filter is a superior dust filtration, EMI shielding filter for minimum air flow requirements. Aluminum extruded profiles surround three layers of aluminum screen and are welded in place. Three layers of wave formed aluminum wire screen, each with a decreased depth are layered together resembling the look of a continuous wave. The combined layers of aluminum screen entrap dust particles. Both sides of the 3-Layer Filter are protected by a rigid grill. Select from Alco-Multi Gasket, a combination of neoprene sponge and monel mesh, Alco-Knit or conductive gaskets for shielding and environmental requirements. This after-filter retains polluting particles thanks to the following main filtration effects: diffusion, inertia and direct interception.
It is recommended for those machining processes producing fine mists from soluble oil mixed with dusts (especially of conducting materials: e.g. cast iron processes, pressure die-casting etc.).
Our after-filter is available in various models with two different levels of efficiency:
EU9 and EU13. The last one is able to retain also some smokes.
The fibreglass after-filter can be used in combination with the three kinds of air filters (turbine single and double centrifuge) and with all our modular filtration units.
