The industrial models offer three types of filtration. Media units utilize a series of filters to collect the particulate. These include pre-filters, media bag filters, HEPA filters, and charcoal modules. The unit can be configured with any combination of media to most effectively capture the specific particulate or fume.
Cartridge units utilize self- cleaning, high efficient, cartridge filters. These reduce filter replacement cost as the filter elements are continually cleaned by compressed air as the unit is operational. All Micro Air® cartridge air cleaners utilize the revolutionary Roto-PulseT cleaning system. This cleaning method has proven far more effective at cleaning the filter that the traditional reverse-jet systems.
Industrial electrostatic models use a series of collecting cells that are electronically charged. As the particulate passes through the ionizer section of the unit, the individual dirt particles receive an opposite charge that causes them to collect on the cell plates.

The Defensor PH26 employs the evaporator principle. This specifically involves dry air coming into contact with a mat saturated with water, absorbing this water and then being emitted into the room air in a practically germ-free condition. Air is thus humidified both inexpensively and with a minimum energy requirement.
A further potential for active air improvement is to be found in air cleaning. The Defensor PH26 can be converted simply and is, in effect, a combination of both humidifier and air cleaner in one.

Designed to be connected to standard factory airlines Factair's range of Safe Air Cabinets provides high quality breathable air to BS EN 12021:1999 by filtration from a normal compressed air supply.
Each unit is fitted to a pressure regulator, pressure gauge and automatic condensate drain. The breathing-air outlet pressure is set using an adjusting key and the pressure gauge incorporates the correct operating parameters for both positive pressure and constant flow masks, in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 14594. Mounted in durable, impact resistant polyethylene housings the Safe-Air Cabinets can be used in the most hazardous and hard working environments.
The Safe-Air Cabinets can be supplied in 2 different output sizes either 425 l/min from 2 outlets or 850 l/min from 4. As standard the Safe-Air Cabinets are provided with a coalescing and carbon filter; however, for heavier duty applications a pre-filter is also available. Units are available in either wall mounted or portable free standing configurations. for standard and options. |
