MISTKOP's proven design couples simplicity with efficiency. No spinning filter to waste horse-power or cause vibrations due to unbalanced filters. Mist and contaminants are captured at the source rather than after they are dispersed as with unducted or electronic units. Easily replaced, low cost filters. Collected fluid drains to your process or container. Usually hung near the source, but all models are available "inverted" such as VC-51 for direct or floor mounting. Secondary filters can be added for smoke.
Easy to install
Increase production efficiency
Low initial cost
Reclaim valuable lubricants
No rotating filters to get out of balance
Non-electronic
MISTKOP with Exhaust Shell vents filtered fumes, gases, or heat to the outside. Available for all models, standard or inverted. Can also be supplied with HEPA filters for efficiency up to 99.97% at 0.3 micron. |

| MistBuster units are efficent, multi-stage mist and smoke collectors. The quiet variable-speed impeller draws mist and smoke through a first stage 4" mist impinger. Then the electrically charged (ESP) collection cell traps the remaining sub-micron mist droplets. Collected liquid is drained back to the coolant tank. Clean, oil-free air is returned to the shop. |

The DELTOLE® is an oil mist collection unit which purifies and cleans the air in
working areas, decreases fire risk hazards and operator accidents and increases
productivity. It is especially recommended for all metal processing applications.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The DELTOLE® uses 4 fundamental principles to trap oil particles :
• The oil mist is separared by the fan impellor or by a cyclonic
system which allows the majority of oil particles to coalesce.
• The inertia force ensures that the droplets formed in this way are
retained and then migrate to the collection tank through a wire
knit filter.
• The diffusion forces with “Brownian” motion deal with the very
fine particles by means of a high efficiency filter used as an
option instead and in place of the last standard final filter.
• For use without recycling, a multi-layer wire knit filter can be
substituted for the final filters. The oil collected by the filter is
continuously evacuated by means of a siphon. |

The oil mist separator for tough applications
Petra is specially designed to handle applications having high degree of solid particles, such as grinding and polishing applications, machining of cast iron and heat treatment (quench oil) applications.
Petra has a capacity of 700 cfm (1,000 m3/h) and can easily be installed on the top of the machine tool it is suitable for most machine tools. This saves floor space and unnecessary pipe work and unnecessary maintenance on pipe, which is quite important in these types of applications, where allot of solid particles deposits in the pipes. It also makes it easier to move the machine tools when production requirements change. |
|
Lina is the smallest oil mist separator in the 3nine product family. It was specially designed for small, enclosed machine tools, where the need for extraction vacuum is limited.
Lina has a capacity of 350 cfm (500m³/h) and is mounted on each machine tool. This saves floor sopace and unnecessary pipe work. It also makes it easier to move the machines when production requirements change. |
|
Clara is 3nine's best-selling oil mist separator. With a flow rate of 700 cfm (1,000 m³/h) it is suitable for most machine tools. Clara has been fitted to practically every type of machine tool for numerous customers in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe.
Clara operates solely on the centrifugal separation principle and therefore requires very little maintenance. Clara does not clog up like a filter - even under extreme conditions with high solids loading, such as the machining of casing and in grinding applications. |
|
Emma is the big sister in the 3nine product family. Emma was designed specially for applications where a high air flow is essential, for example on very large or open machine tools.
Emma has a capacity of 1800 cfm (3000 m3/h). Multiple Emma's can be interconnected using the 3nine modular system to create a solution for flow rates above 1800 cfm (3000 m3/h). |

Oil and Water Vapor Adsorbers (25-2,200 scfm)
Oil vapor can be very detrimental to many products and processes including food, pharmaceutical, instrument, hospital and electronics applications. In these cases an oil adsorber should be installed downstream of both lubricated and non-lubricated air compressors as hydrocarbon vapors are found in ambient air and can be concentrated in the compressed air stream. Oil adsorbers use a charge of activated carbon to remove unwanted hydrocarbon vapors. These adsorbers can be used as single tower water vapor adsorbers with a charge of activated alumina.
Stainless steel diffuser and adsorbent support screens for superior corrosion resistance.
Down flow design for less fluidization and longer adsorbent life.
ASME section VIII designed, manufactured and stamped (where applicable) for certified quality assurance
Specially selected carbon and aluminum adsorbents for low pressure drop.
Separate fill and drain ports for ease in adsorbent replacement.

All models in the air filter series can be coupled to special units that provide real and proper superfiltration. Their use permits many permutations and gives performance levels of up to 99.97% efficiency. These special units can be added at any time, even after the installation of the air filter. Guard: pre-filter for oil mist with swarf. Synthesis: electrostatic after-filter for smokes. Clipper: cartdrige after-filter for micro-mist. Microfilter: activated carbons after-filter for bad/hazardous odours.

The HILCO vent mist eliminator is the answer to economically reclaiming the oily vapor found in the air stream of vents of lubrication oil systems on large, high-speed rotating equipment. These include gas turbines, turbo compressors, reciprocating engines and gearboxes.
The vent mist eliminator improves safety by eliminating oily residue cause by setting oil mist on engine room floors, stairways, etc., keeps the environment clean and helps prevent exterior oil contamination of buildings and grounds. There are currently three versions available: Blower Assisted, Mist Eliminator with Heat Exchanger, and a Coalescer-Only model. All models have DM type coalescers and eliminate oil mist with an efficiency of 99.97% removal of all airborne contaminant regardless of particle size.
Our vent mist eliminator collects, coalesces and filters the mist, significantly reducing visible oil plume. The captured oil is returned to the sump or crankcase, quickly and efficiently for reuse. Available in sizes and models to fit your specific application, HILCO vent mist eliminators are virtually maintenance free.
Hilliard also makes HILCO-quality replacements for other brands of mist eliminators.

Large volumes of lubricating oil are necessary to cool and protect the internal working surfaces of rotating machinery. These conditions can create an oil mist has traditionally been vented to atmosphere. Vokes Oil Mist Eliminators are designed to capture this mist to help meet increasingly demanding environmental and safety legislation. Failure to deal with oil mist can in worst cases represent a significant explosion hazard or, at the very least, the oil can condense on surfaces to subsequently attract dirt.
Available Ranges and Applications
Vokes MM / MMF Oil mist being vented to atmosphere
* Diesel engines - Crankcase breathers
* Gas turbines - Gland vents, Lube oil tank vents
* Steam turbines - Lube oil tank vents
* Compressors - Glands
* Gearboxes - Vents
What is Oil Mist ?
Oil within a machine is subjected to high temperatures and pressures during operation, which can result in the creation of oil mist. The mist typically consists of oil droplets ranging in size from 10µm down to 0.03µm and when vented into the atmosphere is normally visible as a blue-white smoke.
Vokes has researched the factors influencing oil mist emissions with the aim of satisfying the ever evolving and tightening environmental legislation that frequently refers to 'no visible emissions'. We have developed an efficient and cost effective solution to oil mist control.
Vokes Oil Mist Eliminators are available for airflow rates from 12m³/h (7cfm) to 4000m³/h (2330 cfm), selection of which type depends on application and whether a back pressure is acceptable within the machine. |
