Oil and Water Vapor Adsorbers (25-2,200 scfm)
Oil vapor can be very detrimental to many products and processes including food, pharmaceutical, instrument, hospital and electronics applications. In these cases an oil adsorber should be installed downstream of both lubricated and non-lubricated air compressors as hydrocarbon vapors are found in ambient air and can be concentrated in the compressed air stream. Oil adsorbers use a charge of activated carbon to remove unwanted hydrocarbon vapors. These adsorbers can be used as single tower water vapor adsorbers with a charge of activated alumina.
Stainless steel diffuser and adsorbent support screens for superior corrosion resistance.
Down flow design for less fluidization and longer adsorbent life.
ASME section VIII designed, manufactured and stamped (where applicable) for certified quality assurance
Specially selected carbon and aluminum adsorbents for low pressure drop.
Separate fill and drain ports for ease in adsorbent replacement.

Darwin: the innovation friend of the environment!
Thanks to Darwin, the air filter, that mounted on machine tools, cleans the air in work places, Losma has been among the marked companies to the prize the Innovation friend of environment 2002.
The event has been promoted by Legambiente, co-promoted by the Polytechnic of Milan and the Bocconi University, with the contribution of Confindustria and the sponsorship of the Lombardy Region and the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory.
This acknowledgment rewards the engagement of the companies for continuous research and development of innovations compatible with the environment.
From the 1974 Losma operates in the field of the air filtering in industrial workplaces, with the maximum attention to the topics of the emergency and of the protection of the environment inside of the job places.
The Darwin air filter, patented, has been marked as personalized system, careful to the reduction of the energetic consumptions for the aspiration and cleaning of the air from oil fogs of machine tools.

Air filter for mists and vapours from soluble or neat oil for machine tools.
The DARWIN series, patented and available in 4 models, covers throughput range of 600 to 3.000 m³/h. This means that it can cope with widely differing applications, from small lathes to grinding machines or complex machining centres.
Darwin with turbine (T): filtration of air containing soluble oil mist with the presence of heavy particulate.
Darwin with single-centrifuge (M): filtration of air containing mists of soluble and neat oils with presence of small quantities of particulate.
Darwin with double-centrifuge (D): filtration of air containing mists and vapours of soluble and neat oil with presence of small quantities of particulate. |

Gemini represents the perfect solution for all cases where the customer in little spaces has the need of both a pre and post-filtration.
Thanks to the compact shape, Gemini adaptes very easely to all type of machine tools.
Gemini is supplied with a prefiltration stage and another filter with specific efficiency depending on the needs of the customer (>95% or >99,95% - Norms CEN EN 179/1822).
GEMINI has a particular design, already patented, which makes maintenance operations and filters replacement very easy.
Gemini is really customizable in fact it is possible to have different combinations of filters depending on the desired efficiencies and maintenance intervals even after the first installation.
|
|
All models in the air filter series can be coupled to special units that provide real and proper superfiltration. Their use permits many permutations and gives performance levels of up to 99.97% efficiency. These special units can be added at any time, even after the installation of the air filter. Guard: pre-filter for oil mist with swarf. Synthesis: electrostatic after-filter for smokes. Clipper: cartdrige after-filter for micro-mist. Microfilter: activated carbons after-filter for bad/hazardous odours.

US1, US2 & US3
Transor Filter has achieved a high level of recognition as a leader in EDM filtration. Working with builders and end users we have had significant exposure to various oils and how they affect performance. Through this experience, the family of US dielectric fluids came into being.
Irvin Kaage, Transor Filter USA President:
"Our primary business is filtration, but because we are filtering oil you can't help but accumulate information over the years that makes a person knowledgeable about oils. We took this information and formulated a dielectric that works extremely well in the EDM process and our ONE MICRON filtration system. Most important is that it is available at an affordable price. A major aerospace company employing over 100 EDM was using many different oils and wanted to standardize. We were working with them on a filtration project and suggested they try US dielectric. To our surprise, they chose US-1 as the preferred product for performance and value."
Whether you EDM small parts or large forging dies, US-1 is a product you can rely on. |

A LARGE RANGE OF FILTERS
METAL EDGE FILTERS OR BACK FLUSHING FILTERS FOR
ECONOMICAL FILTRATION
Variable configuration inline pressure filters which use modern technology and can be deaned during on-going operation, require no maintenance or disposal measures as opposed to consumable filter material.
They can be used in applications ranging from fine filtration to coarse filtration.
|
|
These filters have been designed for by-pass filtration of lubrication and machining fluids on main production circuits.
They are extremely robust and incorporate 1 to 3 mechanically welded housing elements each accommodating 2 filtering cartridges.
- Filtering surface: 6 to 100 m²

| The MASTER is a range of high head and high-efficiency gravity filters which use non-woven fabric filters. The MASTER range is able to treat between 200 and 1000 litres of neat oil per minute and from 400 to 2000 litres of water-based emulsions per minute containing both metallic and non-metallic particles. The entire filtration process is completely automatic. |
