2D and 3D laser projection systems
Laser projectors are used for several applications like CNC, wooden framework construction, truss or laminated woods. The laser projector allows a size for size 1:1 transfer of, for example, complete component drawings from a CAD system to the working table. This can be achieved easily and with an accuracy of 1mm/m. The polygons are projected with a red or green flicker-free laser line onto almost any surface. The size, form, position and height of the projection can be changed. In addition, single letters or numbers can also be projected. The polygons can be moved and assembled into groups (e.g. nesting). The infernal Computer of the CPS can accept several geometry files produced by AutoCAD or similar programs and output the pattern of that geometry in laser light directly onto the working surface.
A single laser beam is deflected by computer controlled mirrors at high speed through patterns that can contain any combination of arcs and straight lines. By seeing the entire pattern at once, the operator can easily tell exactly where to place hold down fixtures, raw materials or pods. Z-LASER uses temperature stabilised red or green laser sources. The 2D projectors are maintenance-free and constructed for the tough industrial usage. |

The use of lasers allows different machinery operators such as, band saw, edgers, shears, or press brake operators to reduce setup time, saving time while they position the piece of material they are working on. The laser line will clearly align the operator in his working process. To be precise, he guides himself with the laser line, which will reduce the risk of aligning errors and it will automatically reduce the waste of materials.
The economy in time can represent between 25% and 50% depending on the operation. We can assure you that your investment in obtaining a laser will be to your advantage considering saving in raw material and the saving in time due to operation errors. |

Various applications of laser guide line lights
In many fabrication processes, it is helpful for the operator to be able to pre-visualize the path of the tool before the process begins. This offers benefits in efficiency through faster setups with less material waste, in quality through positioning surface features for best appearance and in safety through heightened operator awareness of the zone of danger represented by the tool's motion.
Since 1985, Z-LASER has offered laser guide line lights for just such applications. The bright, highly visible line produced by the laser provides exactly the reference the operator needs to ensure precise alignment between the material and the tool. Whether you require precise positioning for cutting, parts placement or machinery calibration, Z-LASER offers a large range of powerful, industry-tested lasers. The wide variety of available models and output power levels means it's easy to pick the right combination of features for the job at hand.

The L-700 Spindle Alignment System has been helping Detroit build quality automobiles for over 10 years. Prior to the L-700, transfer lines were aligned with indicators and alignment bars. This often resulted in frequent shutdowns due to poorly aligned spindles causing premature tool wear. Poor alignment also resulted in high reject rates, excessive downtime and poor productivity. On one line alone, the L-700 was able to save one GM plant $1.2 million in reduced tooling costs and downtime in the first year of operation after laser aligning the whole transfer line.
The L-700 can also be used for aligning the critical components of a lathe, aligning spindle boxes of large rotary dial machines, aligning the output shaft to the centerline of a twin-barrel extruder and many other applications. When combined with our P-405 Remote Optical Square, the L-700 can also easily measure cross-slide squareness on a lathe

Express alignment check
In order to rapidly determine if there is any alignment problem at all, the system is equipped with an express alignment check function. Only one measurement distance needs to be entered into the system.
Wireless data transfer
In order to avoid the need for cables between the measurement units and the display, the equipment can be complemented with wireless data transfer.
Touchscreen with icons means no confusing terminology
The measurement results are shown on a 6.4 inch back-lit LCD touchscreen. Our new software, which is completely based on distinctive symbols and graphics, makes it easier to learn how to use the system. Since the software does not include any text or difficult terminology, the risk of misunderstandings or misuse is minimized.

The Fixturlaser Dirigo puts laser alignment accuracy within reach of everyone! The ergonomically designed control unit fits comfortably in one hand. The live display means that you will get instant feedback when shimming or moving the machines. This eliminates the guesswork and back and forth you%u2019re suffering through now. All this at an affordable price that means a really quick payback.
Fast, Easy, Precise
The Fixturlaser Dirigo features a unique laser line instead of the traditional laser dot. This makes setup and alignment much easier, as the line is wide and is easily projected to the laser detector.
The Fixturlaser Dirigo also features graduated labels on the laser heads that work with the laser lines, to help the operator %u201Dvisualize%u201D the misalignment condition. This visual cue reinforces the digital values that are displayed on the unit, and makes evaluation and correction of misalignment an easier process. This is very useful when performing rough alignment. The alignment data is continuously updated. All movements of the motor are simultaneously displayed on the screen. The measurement results are displayed with a resolution of 0,01 mm. As you shim or move the machine, the values will be updated to let you know exactly where you are at each step of the way. This means no more guessing about the shim amount, or how much to move a machine. With the Fixturlaser Dirigo laser alignment system there is no interpreting of the values as with dial indicators. The position sensitive detectors precisely measure the misalignment. The large LCD display clearly presents the position of the machinery being aligned. |

The Fixturlaser PAT will be the final solution to all your belt alignment needs
With the Fixturlaser PAT, you are never in doubt on whether your belt transmissions are aligned or not. By using the groove as reference, you will achieve a precise alignment which reduces belt wear, bearing failures and vibrations.
The Fixturlaser PAT comes with two line laser transmitters, each equipped with two spring loaded guides which fit into the pulley grooves. The Fixturlaser PAT is equipped with various sized removable guides to fit standard sheave sizes A-E (6 mm - 40 mm). Additional guides for alignment of timing belts are avilable as accessories.
The use of two laser transmitters with integrated targets, makes it very easy to find out what kind of alignment that is required. Parallel offset, angular error and twist are instantly visible to the operator. Within a few minutes, the operator can determine if the machine requires alignment or not.
The alignment process is as easy as the mounting. Just turn on the lasers and look at the opposite mounted unit. The laser draws a line on the target label as in the illustration below. If necessary, adjust your machine position until the laser lines are aligned with the centre mark on both units. |
