&M Power Plant manufactures generator sets to meet British Standards, DEFSTAN, MILSPEC, NATO and other international defence standards, including the incorporation of special-to-military requirements that extend beyond the needs of our commercial and industrial customers.

Special features that may apply to military generator sets include suppression of EMC emissions, low temperature operation, acoustic housings, quiet operation and portability. G&M designs and builds such additional features to the highest standard and in conformance with the specified classification societies. |

The power range typically covered is up to 1000KW. This is complemented with the manufacture of equipment to customer specifications both within and beyond the range.
G&M also undertakes marine system engineering, involving the design and build of purpose-built parallelling and distribution switchboard and associated control systems.
All builds are to exacting standard and are designed to meet the requirements of any classification society, inclusive of increased levels of protection enabling full certification for the desired marine application.
G&M Power Plant are capable of utilising any appointed engine as the prime mover, and alternator of the clients choice.
G&M generating sets are compact, light and quiet. Close coupling of the engine and alternator ensures permanent alignment and freedom from vibration, contributing to compact dimensions and a high power to weight ration, a particular feature of G&M equipment. |
