The ADV202 is a complete compression/decompression PROFESSIONAL CODEC that is fully compliant to the JPEG2000 standard and is the only device in the market today that is capable of compressing and de-compressing both SD and HDTV video in real-time. Targeted at both still image compression and high-resolution video, the ADV202 performs the computationally intensive operations necessary to perform this new standard in a single chip.
