Mechanized Pipe Welding System
The Piper Bug Pipe Welding System from Bug-O Systems is a digitally controlled programmable welding travel carriage integrated with Lincoln Electric® Invertec® V350-PRO Power Source. The Piper Bug features a positive rack and pinion drive system and a digital control box in which all welding parameters can be programmed for multi-pass, multi-layer welds on process piping and cross country pipe lines. The Piper Bug will increase productivity and weld quality while reducing costs.

Gullco PIPE KAT® Automated Pipe Welding System with integrated wire feeder unit incorporates 40 IPM welding carriage design with quick action mounting for ease of installation. The PIPE KAT® also comes equipped with a linear oscillator with adjustable weave width and weld joint centerline adjustment and all electronic motorized functions incorporate jog settings. The system comes with a main control box with 12 ft umbilical and 27 ft. of water hose and electrode cable, wire feed spool capacity of 10 lbs, with a maximum wire speed of 791 IPM and a wire size range of 0.8 to 1.4 mm. The welding torch uses Abicor Binzel consumables.

Thermocouple Capacitance Welders:
Although thermocouple hot junctions are frequently made by twisting a pair of conductors together by hand, this is not considered good practise when accurate and reliable measurements are required.
When validating pharmaceutical autoclaves and liophilizers or temperature mapping process vessels, it is necessary to use thermocouples that have a properly formed homogenous hot junction. This can only be achieved by fusing the two conductors together in a welding process.
The SR Series of capacitance welding machines are an economical solution for producing hot junctions that are able to provide sustained and reliable temperature measurement. The units are based on the capacitance discharge principal and are designed for bench mounting and portable use, operating from a 100/110V or 220/240V AC supply.

Submerged arc welding (SAW) is a highly efficient automation welding method. There are numerous customers around the world who currently weld in ESAB applications. Our large range of pressure welding heads in the A2 and A6 series are the basis of our SAW-welding automations, such as welding beam-travelling carriages, welding tractors, welding portals and length welding fixtures. Depending on the application, fully automatic SAW welding can be carried out with one or more pressure welding heads at the same time. Each head has single welding wire or twin welding wires or other highly productive solutions.

The KatII incorporates everything required to automate your
cutting/ welding operations...quickly, easily, economically. It is
comprised of the Kat II travel carriage and rigid 8 ft. (2438mm)
straight track and torch or gun holder assembly. The carriage
travels in a forward or reverse direction (vertical or horizontal) on
its track, moving the torch or welding gun along the pre-set path
at precisely controlled speeds. The accuracy, uniformity and
quality of the cut or weld is improved. Productivity is increased.
Costs reduced. It is important to note that the Kat II carriage is
not designed to travel on radius roll formed track.

The Bug-gy Fillet Welder is designed for making continuous or intermittent stitch welds on fillet, lap or butt joints. It is a lightweight portable carriage that uses powerful magnets and guide wheels to clamp and track on the work piece.

The All Position Overlay System is designed for pulp digesters, boiler tube walls or any vessel or surface that requires overlay repair. The system will travel at a regulated, precise travel speed producing consistent uniform overlay patterns. A welding current sensor monitors and controls the torch arc length on pitted or irregular surfaces. The system can be customized for job specific applications on circumferences or flat walls and can be configured to handle a variety of operating windows. The whole system is portable and can be broken down into small pieces for moving through small manholes or openings.

The Mini-Vert is a compact battery powered welding travel carriage. It is held on the workpiece with strong permanent magnets. The Mini-Vert travels and carries a welding gun in flat or vertical positions producing continuous uniform fillet welds.
