BM series are asynchronous, three phase, self-braking. BM series power range is from 0.06 kW up to 11 kW. The motor brakes in case of power supply failure. The brake supply is DC as standard with the rectifier built in the terminal box. On request is possible to have a separate brake supply. The rectifier is supplied with an over-voltage and radio frequency emission protection.
BM series is projected to withstand high overheating guaranteeing high reliability, also under severe operating conditions.
BM series is suitable to be controlled by inverters. The winding insulation class is F. Class H available on request.
Motor enclosure is TEFC, IP54 protection degree (IP55/IP56 available on request). An hexagonal hole is present on the shaft end to allow manual rotation (up to 132 frame size). All the BM series motors can be provided with the brake hand release.
Shields and flanges are aluminium made for motors up to 90 frame size, and cast iron for motor frame size from 100 up to 132. On request 132 frame size motors can be supplied with cast iron frame.
BM series main features are a robust construction, an extremely silent running and braking, the gradual braking action and motor starting, and a notable compactness in dimensions. All MGM motors are CSA approved.

Single-phase capacitor motors Series KD.1 and three-phase motors Series DR.1
The motors are solidly designed and are maintenancefree for life.The multi-grooved stator contains a threefold winding which, together with the phase-shifting capacitor, creates a symmetrical rotating field at the rated working point of the motor.The rotor is of the squirrel-cage type. Two- or four-pole motors with a variety of design Iengths and diameters provide rated torques from 0.75 to 12.6 Ncm. Can be combined with reduction gear units, brakes, and tachogenerator systems.

For simple and rugged pump operation, Micropump AC motors are the choice you can rely on. The drives are supplied with a driving hub and adapter plate that allow a wide-rand of magnetically driven gear pumps to be fitted using just two fixing screws. The result is fast and simple installation. The motors are available in either single- or three-phase configurations. IP 55 motor enclosure ensures protection of internal parts against dust and water.

Baldor AC Gearmotors are available in a wide variety of torques ranging from 15 to 627 in-lbs in both right angle and parallel shaft designs with industry standard mounting configurations. The Right Angle single reduction units feature an Internal Expansion Bladder and Mobil® SHC634 Synthetic oil for long maintenance free operation. The Internal Expansion Bladder keeps the lubrication free of contaminates by eliminating the need to vent the gearbox and allows all position mounting. This feature is exclusive to Baldor.
