The operating lever can always be kept in line with the pitman rod and foot treadle.
Belt tightener:
The motor is provided with a belt tightener of American dimensions. The tension of the belt is easily adjusted by simply loosening the adjustment nut.

AC induction hoist and traction motors offer higher efficiency and smaller size than DC sepex or series wound motors with the same output and thermal performance.
They are without commutator and brushes and require no maintenance. With this type of motor, acceleration and braking torque at higher speeds are not limited by the commutator, which results in shorter stopping distances without the use of a mechanical brake. They also offer longer battery life and more precise control.

SM motors Series consist of three-phase asynchronous electric motors with power range between 0,09 kW and 45,0 kW while the motor frame is from 56 up to 225.
The basic construction is closed, fan cooled and IP 55 enclosure rating.
SM series motor is able to properly run under overload conditions thanks to a high thermal reserve; the insulating materials are class F as standard (Class H on request).

The motors under this series result from coupling an asynchronous three-phase motor with an electromagnetic brake unit. Due to their safety and precision as well as their quick stop with a connection and disconnection time of a matter of 5~80 msec (milliseconds) they are suitable for a variety of applications such as:

- Braking of rotary masses in order to avoid any down-times.
