Axial tool-holders represent a specific orientation for lathe tool holders. Axial tool-holders have the cutting tool and tool-holder shaft oriented on the same axis. They are used on lathes to hold cutting tools in place for turning operations.
Axial tool-holders are used on CNC lathes, Swiss lathes and conventional lathes. They can hold cutting tools that do all types of turning operations. Axial tool-holders can be applied to static or rotary/live type tool-holders.
Axial tool-holders secure cutting tools in place and are specially oriented so that the cutting tool and tool-holder shaft are on the same axis.
Make sure to specify the tool-holder shaft type when selecting an axial tool-holder.
