Beside the loss-in-weight-feeder with a continuous mass flow Gericke offers also batch feeders, with the following characteristics:
- Small quantities can be dosed (p.e. 100 g in a 20 kilo feeder).
- Interruption and continuation of the mass flow is easily possible.
- Only volumetric mass flow is possible.

For powder, granules and small components
Except of a few parts, Model S 700 is exclusively made of stainless steel. Due to the single tray system, the unit is very compact, easy to maintain, operate and clean.
An adaptive control algorithm controls the S 700´s vibrator tray. All parameters necessary for the weighing process are automatically calculated, monitored and adjusted, so only values for target weight, tolerance limits and output need to be entered. So it is only necessary to enter options for synchronisation include an external signal (e.g. from a form fill and sealing machine), manual input (e.g. foot switch) or internal trigger (e.g. conveyor with gating system for filling in plastic containers, cans or glasses).
Technical Data S 700:
- User-friendly operation with LCD screen, clear text and data input via keypad
- Input of only three data points required: Nominal weight, tolerance and speed
- Different models from 5g - 5000g
- Special versions 0,05 - 10g
- Autonomous monitoring and regulation of vibratory tray speed
- Up to 25 wpm, depending on product and fill-weight
- Statistic including counter, mean weight and standard deviation
- Customized specifications
Option:
- Multi head for mixtures or higher output
- TO - reject (Rejection of filling product, if upper limit is exceeded)
- Surface coating
- GMP design
- Statistics printer
- Synchronization with conveyor or other equipment in packing line

Scope of use
Packing loose and powdered materials like: tea, beans and ground coffee, grits, rice, candies, raisins and nuts, chemical granulated products, flour, sugar, buttons, nuts etc. into sealable materials. Additionally they are used for packing liquid and semi-liquid products, such as: milk, ketchup, mayonnaise, mineral water, etc.
There are two versions of the device; packages can be sealed by permanently heating jaws with adjustable temperature (laminates) or resistance tape by impulses with adjustable power flow time (PE).
Packaging material
Polyethylene foil, polypropylene, multi-layer laminates, polyethylene covered paper and other thermo-sealable materials.
Operation principle
Foil is unfolded off the bobbin drum and moves through feeding rolls towards the forming pipe (so-called tube). Here the foil is welded into a sleeve and the date is printed. Then the foil is moved by rubber driving belts to any fixed distance or by a stroke reflecting the graphic sign printed on the foil. Fixed amount of the product is then batched to the formed sleeve in a fixed time. Filled pouch is closed with a lateral weld, cut off and it slides down along a special skid or moves towards a stacking channel.

Sometimes it's the simple ideas that really click with our customers - such as marrying the Kliklok Compak II, one of the most well-known bagmakers in the snack food industry, and a compact Yamato 510 Alpha weigher with a custom weigher support structure. This union begets a very reliable packaging system with a minimal footprint, short setup time, renowned ease-of-use and extremely low maintenance needs - at a price that will fit any budget.
The Uni2 (pronounced unidos, meaning united, all-in-one, integrated) Packaging System was originally put together specifically for low- to mid-volume snack manufacturers in the Mexico, Central and Latin America markets. The Uni2 produces pillow-pouch bags at speeds up to 80 bpm and can handle bag widths up to 250 mm. KW's exclusive Insight® icon-based, multilingual, colour touch screen operator interface includes automatic program setup and instant program changeover. A code dater and a quick-change former assembly round out the feature set.
