High Strength Zinc Alloy Model BL
This model’s holder made of high strength-zinc alloy is connected in perpendicular to the ball shank. With grease pockets provided on the top and bottom of the spherical area, this model achieves high lubricity and high wear resistance.
High Strength Aluminum Alloy Model BL-A
The holder is connected in perpendicular to the shank, which comprises a male thread specially welded with a highly accurate steel ball. With a grease pocket formed on the top and bottom of the spherical area, this model achieves high lubricity and high wear resistance.Use of the A-1 alloy in the holder significantly reduces the weight
Female Threading Holder Model RBI
With this Link Ball model, the high strength zinc alloy is used in its holder and the mounting bolt and the holder are arranged on the same axis, allowing this model to receive both a compressive load and a pulling load. Since grease is contained in the boot, this model achieves high lubricity and high wear resistance.

The most economical linkage option. Avoid the loose fit of pinned connections with a ball joint linkage. Offered in a wide range of styles from the basic staked to a hardened housing and snap ring assembly for increased wear and strength. Quick disconnect versions as well as plastic ball joints are also available. Steel version are available with rubber dirt shields to offer added protection against the environment.

Ball joints serve as linking and guiding elements for movable parts and create corner joints. These parts from component suppliers can significantly simplify mechanical construction, be used to transfer power in offset axles, transmit movement and are indispensable in all mechanical operations such as cushioning, drawing, tilting, levering, etc.
mbo Osswald always keeps a large number of ball joints out of his product palette of more than 12,000 parts in stock. In addition to the DIN 71802 ball joints which consist of DIN 71805 housings and DIN 71803 ball studs, every possible variation is ready to be called up by the customer. There is also a choice of surface protection such as, for example, blank, galvanised zinc, steel or stainless-steel versions.
For problematic environmental conditions (dust, lubricants) there are special ball joints with sealing caps available. The programme is extended with axial joints.

Housings, ball studs and Co. are as various in their geometry, appearance and construction as the ideas of the designers.
There are standard parts in every possible size, construction and material composition available for most applications. As one of the leading German specialist for linking elements, mbo Osswald always keeps a large number of ball studs and housings out of his product palette of more than 12,000 parts in stock.

High rigidity Model PHS
With this model, a special copper alloy with high conformability is inserted between the color chromate treated steel holder and the spherical inner ring of which only the spherical area is hard chrome plated. This structure ensures high rigidity, high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance.
High rigidity Model NHS-T
A no lubrication type that uses self-lubricating synthetic resin formed between the steel holder and the spherical inner ring. Since the clearance on the sliding surface is minimized, accurate link motion is achieved.
High rigidity Model POS
This model is a highly rigid rod end that is basically the same as the female threading type model PHS, but has a male thread on the holder end.
High rigidity Model NOS-T
This model is a no-lubrication rod end that is basically the same as the female threading type model NHS-T, but has a male thread on the holder end.

Description of bearing types
Male, female or spherical bearings are ready-to-use mechanical components, based on the journal bearing principle.
These components are used in mechanical construction to transmit static or dynamic forces at different angles.
Male and female bearings are sometimes called tips or ends.
Spherical bearings are sometimes just called bearings.
The design of bearing components is governed by the DIN / ISO 12240 standard, which also specifies the overall and interface dimensions and with neighbouring mechanical components.
Bearing components can be self-lubricating or fitted with grease nipples.
Spherical bearings supplement ball bearings or other casings in slow movements. They are also ale to withstand high loadings because of the larger surfaces in contact..
The body of spherical bearings can be made from various materials: standard steel, high grade steel, stainless steel or aluminium.

Rod ends DIN ISO 12240-4 (DIN 648) with male thread
Rod ends are some of the most frequently used linking elements in industry. These parts can be found everywhere where simple movements are required, e.g. linear pulling, pushing or even axle offset compensation. The linking technology specialist, mbo Osswald, provides a particularly wide application range with a whole assortment of different rod ends and pivoting bearings.

DURBAL heavy-duty rod ends with a integral maintenance-free spherical plain bearing, Series BEM, BEF, EM, EF
In many cases DURBAL heavy-duty rod ends with integrated spherical plain bearing serve their purpose. They are primarly used for small swiveling or tilting movements at low speeds. They stand out for their high loadability and can also be used for shock loads. The ball slides on a composite bearing shell consisting of a glass fiber-filled nylon/teflon component. This design ensures an absolutely maintenance-free rod end. DURBAL heavy-duty plain bearing rod ends have a slight initial stress and virtually no clearance. The composite material used has a favorable secondary advantage in that it absorbs any foreign particles and embeds them so that no damage can occur. The joint balls of DURBAL heavy-duty rod ends with integrated spherical plain bearings are hard chrome plated. This reliable corrosion protection ensures that the function of the rod end will not be affected by a corroded ball surface under humid operating conditions.
