The DA135 LED Beacon provides an ultra-bright LED flash to warn of abnormal events in any hazardous area.
It is ATEX certified to Ex II 1G for use in any zone. The ruggedised and encapsulated enclosure is sealed to IP65 to ensure reliable operation in harsh environments and is backed up with our 5 year warranty.
Available in five equally bright colours including white and blue, the DA135 Beacon is often used as a simple flashing warning signal but there are also additional unique display features that allow the user to show additional information. These include single, double and triple flash selection and a dual colour version.
Combined with our Intrinsically Safe Sounder and a pushbutton the unit can be configured as a full single point alarm annunciator.

New DA135 Intrinsically Safe LED Beacon from RTK Instruments
RTK Instruments has developed a new range of LED Beacons, which provide powerful visual alarm signals in both hazardous and safe areas. The DA135 is ATEX certified for use in Zone 0, 1 or 2 hazardous areas and is available in five super-bright colours. The ruggedised and encapsulated enclosure makes this an ideal choice for the harsh environments found offshore and in the chemical and petrochemical industry.
The standard unit has a unique method of allowing the user to change the flash rate between single, double or triple flash by triggering control inputs. Customers can then use the same unit to indicate different site problems. A dual colour version is also available where each colour can be triggered separately from the control inputs
The DA135 can be operated alone or in conjunction with an intrinsically safe Sounder and Pushbutton to create a fully featured single point Alarm Annunciator.

The DB5 intrinsically safe multitone sounder is ideally suited for use in areas of high ambient noise. Additionally, for extreme noise levels, they can be linked with the DA134 Xenon Industrial beacons to combine audible and visual warnings. They are designed with a re-entrant configuration to combine compactness with maximum efficiency.
One of 26 tones can be selected using a 5-way DIL switch and by switching the incoming negative supply to a third terminal a second tone is sounded. The sounders have suitable low frequencies to conform to BS 5839: Part 1: 1988, making them ideal for fire alarm systems and other annunciator applications.
The IP65 enclosure enables the DB5 sounder to cope with the harsh environmental conditions found offshore as well as those of the onshore oil, gas and chemical industries. The tough construction enhances the reliability of the solid-state piezoelectric sounder. |

The new Moflash "Spectrum 600" LED Beacon offers the option of 3 colours in one enclosure (Red, Amber and Green). The Spectrum 600 also incorporates a Piezo Buzzer offering an additional audible signal option. The unit offers a total of 28 signal combinations for PLC SUPPLIER controlled operation. The item is made for continuous operation. The protection degree is IP 66. The housing is made of impact resistant thermoplast. The cap is made of Makrolon. The strobe energy is 5 Joule.

It is designed for continuous operation. If the supply voltage is turned on, the Strobe Light dSLB21 is activated. The device is available in several versions with various levels of operating voltage and flash energy and various signalling colours. The stable, glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) housing is made to the IP66 degree of protection and may be used indoors or outdoors. The II 2 G EEx de IIC T6 protection class enables the unlimited use of the signalling device in all hazardous areas, zones 1 and 2. The flameproof enclosure and the "increased safety" type of protection of the terminal room guarantee hazardous area protection. The upper part of the flameproof enclosure, which contains the flash electronic and the mounted flash tube, consists of a transparent Makrolon-cap. An inner cap lends colour to the light. The housing consists completely of GRP. Thus the device is protected against corrosion, and fulfills the requirements of contact safety class II. An equipotentiel bonding is not required. All outer fastening parts are manufactured
in noncorrosive materials. |

Explosionproof beacon lamps suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
Large-format 610EX beacon features white EPC coated LM25 aluminium and wire guard, whilst the DEX housing features hot dipped galvanised cast iron with white EPC coating. A steel wire guard is optional for the DEX housing. Alternative EPC coating colours can be accommodated to suit specific applications.
The full range of beacon interiors is available from simple static filament through to low-current LED and high-energy xenon strobe models.
Two threaded M20 entries are provided as standard; others can be supplied to special order.

The Pulsed Filament Beacon Lamp derives its warning signal from repetitively flashing a filament lamp. This is the only type of flashing beacon permitted to be used on ground vehicles at airports.
Pulsed Flashing potential is now enhanced by our latest developments of LED beacon lamps giving exceptional operation with no lamp change required, low current drain and in the case of the MFE/LED models, the unique feature of seven signals in one device, all digitally controlled - Static, Pulsed (x3 speeds), Wig-wag (x2 styles) and Chasing, allowing one beacon to replace several signalling devices, such as expensive stacking industrial beacons.

ActiveLine is designed to indicate various operating states of machines and systems. The possible signalling colours green, yellow, red, blue and white are all shown in one single light element. Each colour can be preset to continuous light, blink light or flash light. The light is generated by use of lightemitting professional diodes. The model with sounder can also generate a penetrating signalling tone, with four adjustable sound levels.
The plastic housing, the stable foot and the sounder housing are made of impact-resistant thermoplastic. The cap consists of im-pact-resistant polycarbonate, and the stand-tube is made of aluminium. |

Our LED Beacon Lamps utilise latest technology LED's to provide a generally low power long life (>100,000 hours) visual signal. Simulated Rotating, Pulsed (Flashing) and Static (Non-flashing) models are available. The MFE/LED multi-function pulsed unit has Static and Pulsed inputs and provides an alternative chasing pattern when both are connected simultaneously.
Available in the standard voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 115Vac and 230Vac. GFD models is telephone line driven (48-75V UC).

The Rotating Flashing beacon is probably considered the traditional type of warning beacon. As the parabolic mirror revolves around the lamp, an intense beam of light is projected. This then provides a warning signal capable of cutting through smoke and dust laden atmospheres and can command attention even when someone is standing with their back to the beacon.

Federal Signal Model 371 incandescent warning lights have a powerful sealed beam lamp that rotates 360º within a glass or polycarbonate dome. Power is delivered to the Commander's rotating lamp by a unique collector ring. The lamp itself is mounted in a pivoting yoke. This allows the lamp beam angle to be adjusted through 90 degrees from horizontal to vertical. Changing the beam angle allows the user to create unique light patterns and/or direct the light for better visibility.
