SNR TOPLINE bearings benefit from SNR's state-of-the-art innovations, providing suitable solutions for the most extreme operating requirements.
This product range breaks down into 4 families, with bearings capable of sustaining temperatures from -60 °C (LT series) to +150 °C (FT series) and up to +200 °C (HT series), as well as high rotational speeds up to 700,000 N.Dm (HV series).
Fitted with steel cages, the Topline bearings are also proposed in sealed version (fluorinated elastomer or Viton seal, according to the series) or in protected version (deflector baffles, of lower cost, and suitable for higher rotational speeds).
The TOPLINE product range greases have been selected for their outstanding performance in application and submitted to thorough testing. 70 % of the bearing failures are attributable to lubrication: therefore, particular care has been paid to grease selection, now a major contributor to the quality of our bearings, guarantying their reliability and durability.

GWG make large diameter deep groove ball bearing. In addition to stardard bearings, GWG supply non-standard and customer bearings in shorter lead time than expected. For more information, please view our homepage www.gwgbearings.com

Deep Groove ball bearings are the most popular of all the ball bearing types because they are available in a wide variety of seal, shield and snap-ring arrangements.
The bearing ring grooves are circular arcs made slightly larger than the radius of the ball. The balls make point contact with the raceways (elliptical contact when loaded). The inner ring shoulders are of equal height (as the outer ring shoulders).
Deep Groove ball bearings can sustain radial, axial, or composite loads and because of simple design, this bearing type can be produced to provide both high-running accuracy and high-speed operation.
|
|
Deep groove ball bearings are the simplest yet the most popular bearing:
* Suitable for very high rotating speeds
* Well suited for medium high radial and axial loads in one or both directions
* Various seals and grease variants available for different operating conditions
* Numerous clearance and tolerance classes available for different operating conditions
* Standard: DIN 625
* Series: 600, 6000, 6200, 6300, 6400, 1600; Thin-ring: 61800, 61900
* Application examples: electrical motors, general machinery, industrial gearboxes, pumps, agricultural machinery, etc.

Deep Groove ball bearings with seals or shields are standardized. They contain proper amount of grease in advance.

Angular contact ball bearings with single row, double row, matched sets.
To stand axial and radial loads the range will include different contact angles (12 to 60 degrees), high accuracy for machine tool spindle applications, large size for heavy industries and wheel special bearings also.
|
|
The construction of this ball bearing is similar to mounting two single row angular ball bearings back to back(DB).
Capacities of double row ball bearing is less than single row since few balls can be inserted per row.
This bearing type can sustain radial, moment and bi-directional axial loads.

Angular contact bearings are designed such that a contact angle between the races and the balls is formed when the bearing is in use. The major design characteristic of this type of bearing is that one, or both of the ring races have one shoulder relieved, or higher than the other. In order for these bearings to function properly, they must be assembled with a thrust load. This loading (or preload) creates a line of contact (or contact angle) between the inner race, the ball and the outer race. The preload can be built into the bearing or created when the bearing is inserted into an assembly. The contact angle varies from 15° to 40° and is measured relative to a line running perpendicular to the bearing axis. Angular contact bearings are unidirectional thrust bearings that can withstand heavy thrust loads and moderate radial loads.

Flush ground set combination
(Universal matching)
Flush ground set combination bearings are also available with suffix U. This permits the use of random combinations where two or more bearings are mounted.
This type is used for for supporting the ball screws that are used as actuators of high precision and high machines, precision measurement equipment, robots, etc. This is a precision and high ability bearing.

SNFA Series VEB (ISO 19) and VEX (ISO 10) have been developed to offer outstanding performance even in very demanding and advanced applications.
The different issues affecting high speed applications have been analysed when designing and producing these series. Particular attention has been paid to dynamic and heat effects and lubrication problems without neglecting other features such as the load capacity and rigidity. VEB and VEX bearings offer a wide range of application possibilities both with grease and oil lubrication.
The values given for rigidly preloaded bearings are valid as long as operating conditions do not involve marked heat-induced preload increase. In some applications, such as electrospindles for instance, the electric motor generated heat thermally increases bearing preload and reduces the
speed obtainable. H1/NS version VEB and VEX bearings (with ceramic balls and air-oil lubrication feed holes in the outer ring) are the ideal solution for reaching maximum speed.
Minimum air-oil lubrication, controlled constant preload, accurate bearing mounting and good spindle balance are necessary for obtaining satisfactory results with VEB and VEX bearings.

High temperature bearings
Fitted with a steel sheet cage, the F600 range bearings receive a specific surface treatment making them more resistant to oxidation and thermal shocks, and allowing operations between 200°C and 350°C.
Suitable for slow handling at high temperatures, they require a rotating speed of less than 50 RPM and moderate loads. Radial clearance was increased to compensate for thermal expansion deviations between the 2 rings and for neighbouring component distortions.
The special treatments of the F600 series can be applied on request to other bearing symbols and types (e.g. spherical roller bearings). Please contact SNR's technical departments.
Applications examples: oven carriages, transport rolls, conveyors, porcelain works, glass making, foundries, cement plants, brick plants…
Series: F600 (standard), F604 (greased and protected), F605 (limestone process)
6000, 6200, 6300

Development of low-torque ball bearing that improves automotive fuel efficiency.
JTEKT Corporation has developed a low-torque ball bearing for use in oil lubrication that improves automotive fuel efficiency.
Many oil-lubrication ball bearings are used in the motor-support areas of hybrid vehicle transmissions and the gear-support areas of automotive automatic transmissions, manual transmissions, and continuously variable transmissions.
Further improvement in automotive fuel efficiency is currently sought, and further reduction of rotational resistance (rotational torque) in the ball bearings used in the above mechanisms is seen as essential. By optimizing the design dimensions of the bearing internal parts, JTEKT has succeeded in reducing rotational torque 40% in comparison with the conventional product.

SNFA's prime objective has always been to reach the highest levels of specialisation in the design, development and manufacture of precision bearings.
The various series manufactured by SNFA present a wide variety of configuration and sizes. They consist of bearings ranging from a minimum of 6 mm diameter bore to a maximum of 380 mm outer diameter.
Development has always been in line with international standards, as there is a need to offer interchangeability, bearing specifications are therefore classed in accordance with such standards. Specifically, SNFA bearing are designed and manufactured in accordance with the following standards:
- Overall dimension, radii ABMA Std 20 (Equivalent to ISO 15)
- Dimensional tolerance ABMA Std 20 (Equivalent to ISO 492)
- Running accurary tolerance ABMA Std 20 (Equivalent to ISO 492)
