RKB double row taper roller bearings can take up heavy loads.
The basic styles are two row converging TDI configuration and two row diverging TDO configuration.
RKB bearings in TDI configuration have a double cone assembly and two single cups and they are generally supplied with a cup spacer.
The cup spacer is face ground after accurate measurement of the distance to obtain a predetermined internal play. Spacers or components may not be interchanged.
RKB also produces the taper roller steep contact angle TDIS version with higher thrust capacity than the TDI type.
These TDIS bearings have combination of face slots (e.g. N, N1, N2) and bore key-way for locking the cone on the shaft.
Also helical groove in the bore and lubrication grooves in side faces of double cone and/or retention sleeve with annular groove and lubrication holes can be provided.
RKB bearings in TDO configuration have a double cup, two single cone assemblies and can be supplied with a shaft supported cone spacer.
The TDO style bearings are mainly used in a floating cup mounting. Additional features of a lubrication groove and oil holes in the double cup for simplified lubrication through the outer ring are included (suffix CD).
In the TDO type the contact angle diverges, so the rigidity of the shaft mounting is increased.
Bearing sets with steep contact angle and intermediate ring, pierced rollers and steel pin-type cage (TDOS design), bearing sets with extended inner rings which abut each other (TDONA and TDONASW designs), bearing sets with heavy wall cup (TNASWH design) and bearing sets with shields of pressed steel (TDO 4422 design) are also in RKB manufacturing program. |

FAG housing and bearing units have successfully been used in machinery, installations and equipment.
FAG bearing housings are usually made of greycast iron.
As a rule, the bearing seats in the housings are machined in such a way that the bearings can be
displaced, i.e. they are of the floating type. All outer surfaces of FAG housings and housing parts are provided with a universal coat of paint (colour RAL 7031, bluish grey).
Depending on the operating conditions, the bearing housings can be sealed with rubbing seals, non-rubbing seals, and combinations of both. |

NSK Bearing Units consist of a sealed single-row ball bearing with spherical outside diameter and extended inner ring mounted in a pillow block or flanged housing. The spherical fit between the insert and housing enables the unit to accommodate initial misalignment.
NSK can supply a full range of housing configurations made from ductile cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel depending on the requirements of the application. In addition, a variety of shaft locking mechanisms are available including set-screws, eccentric locking collars or adapter sleeves.
NSK Bearing Units feature ‘flingers’ in addition to the bearing seals. The design of the flinger promotes an outward flow of air to keep contaminants away from the bearing. This improves the sealing performance of the standard bearing units.

Radial insert ball bearings are single row, rady-to-fit units comprising a solid outer ring, an inner ring extended on one or both sides, cages made from plastic or sheet steel and P, R, L or T seals. Bearings with an inner ring extended on both sides undergo less tilting of the inner ring and therefore run more smoothly.
The outer ring has a crowned or cylindrical outside surface. In conjunction with an INA housing matched to the bearing type, bearings with a crowned outside surface compensate for shaft misalignments; see Compensation of misalignments.
They are located on the shaft by means of an eccentric locking collar, grub screws in the inner ring, an adapter sleeve, drive slot or fit. Radial insert ball bearings are particularly easy to fit, suitable for drawn shafts of grade h6 to h9 and, with a few exceptions, can be relubricated.
Some series with an eccentric locking collar and with grub screws in the inner ring are also available with an inch size bore.

Stainless steel bearing units are used, amongst others, in sectors featuring high-component corrosion resistance requirements.
In these sectors characterised by demanding operating conditions (such as high relative humidity or direct contact with aggressive environments), the conventional grey iron self-aligning bearing units are no longer suitable and will not fully meet the requirements.
To satisfy the specific operating requirements, SNR proposes an extensive standard programme of stainless steel self-aligning bearing units, which also meets the USDA H1 standard criteria dictated by the pharmaceutical and agri-food industries (notably, the high-purity level of lubricant constituents), as all SNR stainless steel self-aligning bearings are exclusively filled with a grease complying with this specification.

SNR thermoplastic self-aligning bearing units are designed for extreme condition operations, sometimes combining high loads, extreme temperatures, vibrations, corrosion and misalignment. In fact, our bearing units are fitted with seals and deflector baffles, as well as corrosion-resistant, pre-lubricated stainless steel rings and rolling bodies.
All our thermoplastic bearing units are lubricated with USDA H1 standard-approved greases. This standard involves the most stringent requirements in terms of hygiene and purity of the grease constituents or raw materials.
Of white colour PBT design, these bearing units feature a smooth surface preventing dust entrapment or fungus and bacteria development. For lubrication, SNR has designed an odourless, tasteless agri-food-compatible grease, harmless to food products.

RKB four row taper roller bearings are installed as complete assemblies and take axial loads in addition to heavy radial loads.
For quick roll changes, they have a loose fit on the roll necks, but there is the disadvantage that the inner rings wander on their seatings causing wear. To reduce these negative effects they have a helical groov.
RKB produces these bearings in two base designs, TQO and TQI configuration.
The TQO type is composed in its standard configuration of two double cone assemblies, one central double cup, two single cups and factory adjusted cup and cone spacers.
Lubrication grooves and oil holes are provided.
The TQI type is composed in its standard configuration of one double cone assembly, two single cone assemblies and two double cups.
A four separated individual single cups configuration is also available.
It is also available the version with tapered bore (designation TQIT and TQITE).
In RKB sealed TQOS type sets, they have been developed to improve the lubrication in service.
The seals are produced in several designs depending on bearing size and application needs; the most common are the integrated lateral unitized seals (european version), the integrated lateral narrow seals (compact seal concept) and the loose flange lateral unitized seals (japanese version).
RKB seals have been redesigned in new type to increase seal durability and efficiency: these seals optimize the available space.

RKB multi row have low cross section, high load carrying capacity, stiffness and are used for metal rolling equipment in mills.
They are of separable design that considerably simplifies mounting, maintenance and inspection.
They can tolerate moderate to high shaft speeds. The rollers and outer races are carefully matched to ensure the best load distribution.
Inner rings (designation L) are interchangeable with other assemblies (designation R).
They have cylindrical bore and some sizes are also available with tapered bore.
The use of them in metal rolling mills exposes them to very heavy stresses.The rings and rollers can be manufactured with very high quality case hardened carburizing alloy steels. Deep case depth and special heat treatment ensure superior size stability, fracture toughness and reliability.
Where the bearings are mounted with a loose fit on the roll neck, RKB multi row cylindrical roller bearings have C2 internal radial clearance and are supplied with a helical groove in the bore and/or lubrication grooves in the side faces of the bearing rings for the efficient lubrication (e.g. suffix AC).
RKB produces the multi row cylindrical roller bearings in several construction.
The various designs differ basically in the number of inner and outer rings, in the number of loose or integral flanges on the outer ring, in the cage type, in the number of rollers in the cage pocket.
Furthermore, on order RKB can produce the bearings sealed at both sides by radial rubbing seals or with wider inner ring.
They are produced with the normal precision grade for roll neck bearings, conform to class P6 for dimensional and running accuracy to ISO 492. |

Track rollers for Vee bars/Plain rollers - type FR/LR
The backlash setting and the pre-tensioning of the rollers takes place via the eccentric hub of the rollers of the series FR.., FR..R or LR.., LR..R.
The FR..Z and LR..Z series are the concentric models. In the eccentric rollers, the inner bolts are provided with two holes. These allow for the adjustment of the backlash. If a roller is located in its zero position, the teeth backlash will be the standard value of 0.05 mm flank clearance.
The service life of the system will be reduced by excessive tensioning. With too little tension the rollers will not run, or will wear due to the poor meshing.

Linear guidance systems with linear recirculating ball bearing units comprise ball bearing units, carriages and guideways. They allow large support distances, have adjustable clearance and are to standard accuracy class G3.
The full complement bearing units run on one or both sides of the guideways and, despite their small dimensions, have high load carrying capacity. If the bearing units are screw mounted in carriages, together with the guideways they form four-row linear recirculating ball bearing and guideway assemblies. The ball bearing units are sealed on all sides by the wipers on the end faces and on the sealing strips which form a gap seal in conjunction with the guideway. Linear recirculating ball bearing units can be relubricated.
